Where I live it is really hard to meet somewone really intrested in global worming.
I think that more people should get involved. Better said all of them.

It's obviously too low in the UK otherwise there wouldn't be so many people struggling to buy houses and support their families. I reckon £16,000 should be a minimum full-time wage. Why is it that hard work is so low valued these days?

Hi Everyone, I recently purchased a '03 Accord and noticed that there are black residues in my tailpipe - maybe oil?? Yesterday, my car ran out completely of oil - the oil indicater was blinking. There isn't any noticeable leak - I brought it into a service center today and they said that nothing is wrong with the car and that I only needed my oil change. Is this correct? How can my car go completely out of oil? The last oil change was 2 months ago...and what is the black residue in the tailpipe?

My daughter just turned 2, and she can already dress herself. She goes into her room, and comes out with different clothes on! The little stinker, lol. I didnt think kids learned to do that until a later age???

i ask this because atheists don't need a fear of god to be a good person. christians are afraid to sin because of eternal damnation and of course, because they feel it's wrong.

but why don't atheists need to be told they're going to hell if they do something bad? they think when they die, they're dead, so what's stopping them from indulging in sinful behaviour?

My hubby experiences this pain and says it comes and goes in spasms - when the pain is present walking hurts/sitting hurts - the pain lasts for approx 10 mins then just wears off. Have spoken with GP regarding this but they have just advised a ultrasound is needed and he is waiting for an appointment from the hospital and havent said what he thinks it is.

I'm looking for a new apartment as I just got a new job. I called one such place that was on my list, and was told (rather rudely, actually) that they wouldn't lease to people with pets OR children. (I have one daughter, she's 5.) Now no pets, I can understand...but no children? Isn't that cutting out like 80% of the population? And moreover, isn't it a bit discriminatory?

Given how rude the guy was to me, I suspect he was just busy and wanted to shake me off, but still...

I'm buddhist, and i don't disagree or agree with christianity, but i'v noticed that a lot of christians don't like islamic people because of radical groups that bomb places and whatnot.

just to let you know, i lived in asia for several years and everyone there thinks that all christians are evil and they think every christian is like the KKK, which is obviously wrong.

Why cant people clue in that not all islams bomb buildings and not al christians burn every black asian or islamic person they can find. Why can't everyone just realize that those wo religions, along with judaism, are based on the exact same thing?

I have a gorgeous wedding dress in need of a few inches being taken off the bottom. The problem is the bridal store did not tell me how difficult it was going to be to hem & did not offer for me to order the dress to length. I now have a dress with gorgeous lace and beading on the bottom (with each little bead individually sewn on) and no waist seam. The first seamstress wanted to make a waist seam where there wasn't one, which is not what I want to do considering I bought the dress because I thought it was gorgeous as one continous piece. Please help!! It's a satin gown with the sheer overlay that has all the detail work on it. Thank you!!

I've been on birth control for 3 months and I started on a Sunday, which happened to be the day I got my period. I was told I wouldn't have my period on a weekend if I was a Sunday start but my periods have been coming on a Thursday and lasting until Sunday/Monday after. I was wondering, since today is Thursday and I started this morning, is there any way I can reset my cycle by taking my first pill of the new pack today instead of continuing with my placebo? When will I be fully protected if this is the case?
