I'm buddhist, and i don't disagree or agree with christianity, but i'v noticed that a lot of christians don't like islamic people because of radical groups that bomb places and whatnot.

just to let you know, i lived in asia for several years and everyone there thinks that all christians are evil and they think every christian is like the KKK, which is obviously wrong.

Why cant people clue in that not all islams bomb buildings and not al christians burn every black asian or islamic person they can find. Why can't everyone just realize that those wo religions, along with judaism, are based on the exact same thing?

Sorry if I was over exagerating. Obviously not EVERYONE in asia feels that way about christians, but a lot do where i came from. And obviously not all christians feel that way about islams. just to clear anything up. It's just bad steriotyping.

Because people are closeminded and don't want to hear the truth.

No, NOT everyone in Asia thinks that all Christians are evil or KKK, if they did, there wouldnt be Christian Asians. Phillipines has a lot of Christians, so does Indonesia, Singapore, and Mainland China. There are some in Malaysia, Thailand and Burma too. Not sure which part of Asia you stayed in though.

Obviously...as in EVERYWHERE, there are some who do think that, but ALL is a little stretching it. Many parts of Asia dont even know what KKK is, try asking around in Vietnam, Burma, Tibet, Mongolia...

What you said makes sense, but people take a simplified view of life and put others in the Good or Bad category.

Its easier to generalize than it is to take the time to find out the truth (or admit you just can't know).

I also think that people generalize so that they will have others to agree with them, then they have a witness to their... correctness?.
