Hello. I play a lot of soccer and have really bad lower back pain. This happened last summer. Whenever i lifted my right leg i would get this pain on the lower right side of my back above my ***. My doctor told me to put ice and take ibuprofen. After i did that it stopped. Now its on the left side and i did what my doctor told me but it wont stop now.. I always did crunches and stopped about 1 month ago and started running. i want to know if the running injured my back or if my abdomen isnt strong enough after i stopped doing crunches? Should i start doing crunches or stop any physical activities? Thank you

horses can be ridden and need food and a nice medow filled with flowers and patches of grass.
Female cows must be milked every morning and need food and a feild with flowers and grass.

And for both you must take out all poisonuis plants so your horse or cow will not get sick.

.. and since our current understanding of human mind is woefully inadequet are you, as a scientifically minded and enlightened individual, satisfied with the answers we have now from either science or religeon?.. im not knocking anyone here especially religeous beliefs but heres my point ::: couldnt spiritual traditions be accepted as a good starting point for researchers to look at what might be going on, not to accept religeon as a source for definitive answers, but accept some religeous beliefs as a starting point for developing hypotheses that we can possibly test ... examine various aspects of the consciousness to see if it functions independently of the physical brain, implying existance of an idependent spirit .. things like that ... i see alot of people totally debunk and throw out the window and refuse to even look at anything to do with religeous belief ..

What does the non-christians teach to their children to avoid teen pregnancy, STDs, low self-esteem? How do they teach their kids not to fight, or hit or spit or cuss? or to not do drugs or alcohol? or to not view their lives as something worth throwing away in suicide if it gets 'too tough'? How do they teach them that they dont have to 'do it' because MTV tells them its cool?

Or is it that the non-Christian thinks that none of that stuff is REALLY all THAT bad and if it all goes out the window when they turn 18, so be it?

Its not 'that bad' if your kid is glued to the internet and getting hit with porn spam? Its not THAT bad if your kid is watching cartoons that gets their mind thinking about kissing and dating when they are 5 yrs old? What about violent video games? Or experimental drug use in movies?

What is the non-believers answer to all that when it comes to your children? Go get counselling? Medicate?..what?

my best friend that i went to catholic school with until we were in 8th grade (i am now in 12th) just had his father pass away on saturday. when im thinking of things to say i feel like i have the perfectw words, but when i talk to him i always choke up and have to try not to cry and be strong for him. i want to be the best supporting friend i can be, but i guess ive never really experienced something like this- with someone so close tome dying. he has thankfully been calling me because he loves to talk to me and i am so happy that he wants ME to be there to help him through this hard time, but is there anything encouragin that has helped you when best freind told you- or is there truly nothing to be said? please let me know! thanks!

My self absorbed mother plans to throw me a shower when I am 38 or 39 weeks pregnant. I tried to explain to her that the baby may be here by then and I would like to have a shower at least 4 weeks before my due date (36 weeks at the latest).

She told me that she is "too busy" to throw me a shower anytime before 38/39 weeks. I am 27 weeks now and this is my first baby, I would like time before the baby is born to wash things and get things ready, especially since I plan to work up until the day I go into labor.

What do I do? Don't you think 38 or 39 weeks is way too late for a baby shower? Should I let my friend throw me the shower instead since my mom is too busy?

I have noticed that after I put flea & tick prevention drops on my dogs (they both have black coats) that a white substance (sort of looks like powder) appears at the tips of their hairs almost immediatly...even before the substance has fully disbursed. Are these the flea eggs and larve or something else?
