Now I have seen every ridiculous name for a boy and a girl! Brooklyn is usually for a girl and it's a terrible name. But I do like Kalani. I think Kalani sound more of a girl name than a boy name and it's pronounce (ka-lon-ee) not (kal-on-ee).

Brooklyn is Okay, (just okay) but Kalani is too feminine..... if it has a special meaning, most people (except Hawaiians) would be unaware of the meaning and might assume he were a girl.

For a boy? I have a really bad feeling he would get ridiculed for those names. Because many languanges are based off of latin 'a' is often associated with being feminine. Brooklyn also sounds like a girl's name.

Not really. I am not a huge fan of Brooklyn to begin with, but I prefer it slightly more on a girl.

Listen to "A Boy Named Sue" and decide if you want your child brawling every day because his parents preferred feminine names.
What about Bryce, Breden, Caleb or Kiernan instead?

You've got to be kidding. Those are both lovely girls names. But, for a boy, no way. He will be made fun of all of his life. I personally would never do that to a boy.
