I'd have to say the horse probably has a bit of an edge on the cow, simply because the horse is the more noble of the two animals. The horse is ridden for both sport and battle.

If you are wanting the milk from the cow then a jersey cow would be my choice, but between a horse and a cow... I'd choose a horse. Their prices don't bottom out like cattle business does. To take care of one horse is equivalent to taking care of 4 cows.

well ive always thought horses were def. more popular than cows but you DONT need to milk cows every morning uless theyre milk cows. if theyre beef cows then u wouldnt milk them - their calves would get the milk. i live on a farm and we raise Angus cows. im thinking horses cost more to care for but cows r normally kept in large amounts. now im starting where a Q like this is coming from...?

It depends on if you like an animal that has a strong possibility to be stubborn. Horses can be a little, but not even close to cow stubbornness.

I like horses, they don't smell quite as bad as cows do.

Cows, there's nothing that beats fresh, hormone, pesticide, chemical free milk everyday.
