Did you face Internet scam?
In your opinion: why it happens? And how we fight this rising fraud?
Do you think laws are enough for fighting it?
Can breeding (generally) or religious breeding (particularly) help in preventing us from it in future?

I live in an open but 1-bedroom apartment and for months now have seriously wanted to find some sort of pet. I realize that cats are always a good choice for someone who works 9-5....but I do have my heart set on a dog. i've been giving this some serious thought and can't seem to find the right answer...any advice on breeds that do well with an apartment setting?

I just spent some time defending my beliefs over the phone with a friend. She just used every protest I've heard about veganism:

"Make sure I'm eating right and getting all my vitamins."
"Your son will have a hard time at school dealing with children who aren't vegetarian or vegan."
"I can understand not wanting to eat meat, but c'mon, cheese and milk aren't hurting the cow."
"You can't change the world."
"Enjoy life... why limit yourself on what you can eat? Why deprive yourself?"
"You don't know anything about nutrition; I suggest you and your husband take a cooking class."

This know-it-all claimed that since she's older and has dealt with vegetarians and vegans before, she knows more. I know I should just ignore everything she just said... after all, this is coming from the same person who thinks Diet Coke is better than regular Coke... but I still can't help but feel upset.

Any kind words would be appreciated...

I have unpaid traffic tickets in wisconsin and ohio. It was a very long time ago and i cant remember what counties or where in the state they were in. I was just passing through those states when i got those speeding tickets. my lisence is from florida even now and also when i got those tickets. I want to pay them now. what should i do? any advice on this would help. Thanks,

the problem is that the dog only listen to me when he feels like it when there people around he goes running off to them he doesnt come to me on command he doesnt like to eat treats he doesnt listen at all and hes always afraid of me even when im nice he doesnt eat in front of me he only eats when he feels like it what do i do i dont want to give me up

Do you still carry scars from your JW childhood? Do you feel like no one understands your pain or you can't connect with anyone about it? Do you feel almost like a victim of child abuse because of your JW upbringing?

I have been experiencing bitterness and anger for years now because of it and can't let it go. I can't find anyone like me for support. Does anyone else feel the same way? When will this pain end? Why can't I let go of my anger? It's ruining my life.

The estimated cost of repairs was $5,400..we agreed to Pay 50% of the repairs with our part not to exceed 2,900 if actual cost was more the seller would be responsible for the rest. We have a contract stating that it also says repairs would complete by the 25th when we close. We are also suppose to be able to take possession of the home that day. Today we talked to the contractor who they told us would be doing repairs, he said he had not started the job yet (they hadn't actually not hired him yet) and that even if he was hired today there was no way the repairs would be complete by the 25th. We now know that the repairs will not be done by closing day, so if They hire the contractor and we allow the repairs to be completed after closing and the seller Doesn't pay the contractor their part can the Contractor put a lein on our home making us pay all of the repairs Even though the original homeowner hired them and signed a contract with us to pay for 50% repairs. Should we not Close?

The idea behind the question is to form an online association whereby American Taxpayers can come together through the internet and express their concerns, beliefs, support, and / or disapproval for how our tax dollars are being spent and misappropriated.

The Politicians that decide how our tax dollars are spent know that most of us feel that our one single voice does not make much of a difference and therefore do not put much emphasis if someone voices their opinion or concern for how tax dollars are being spent.

However, if 10 million tax payers voice their concern through an online forum, the politicians cannot just overlook our concerns. They'll have to stop and pay attention to our concerns as a large single entity instead of a fragmented group of people.

Research shows that most of us are reluctant to stand up and voice our opinions because we feel it will not have an impact.

I'd like to see what type of interest there is in forming this type of association?

Our councils seem to be full on supplying road blocks to stop our flow and decisions as to stop or giveway so if we have free will and used our feelings and knowing..with out being told when to stop or giveway without lights or signs ....there fore it would save a heck of a lot of monies and we would then be paying less rates..I am in the vicinity of Canada Bay and they are putting more humps and bumps , even just islands at the side of the road stops the flow ...of a once two lane traffic ...so what is the answer, also cutting down trees unnecessarily...this is our enviroment and it is an expression of us also ...thank you
