Quite a response.
Going to let it ride for a while & see what you.... really think.
Liked the " gorilla fart" answer, but it's going to be hard to choose .
Hope we can do better next time.
Thanks all

I am British and don't know anyone who has a good word to say about George Dubya. We are just amazed that you guys voted him in twice. His ability to consistently humiliate himself when talking to the press and media is amazing.

Mike V: Thank you for proving the point of all the stereotypes that the world has about Americans

Oh, and I am deeply proud of my country. My country gave me a great education, it gave me respect, it gave me my home, it gave me my great job, it gave me my girlfriend, it keeps my family and friends in employment and happy and warm. My country feeds, clothes and looks after me. I love my country, as most people love their country. We just have a real world view - unlike you.

hey smgfan, we Americans do not have a world view because we have only been on the world stage for around 50 years. In case you know nothing of American history we were an isolationist country, that did not get involved in any world affairs. An it was the British who handed this job over to us when we didn't want it. I do not know if you this but, until Japan attacked us in 1941 nobody in the United States wanted to help England because we did not want to get involved in a European war, especially after WWI and that we had a very large Irish an German population. That's how much of an isolationist mind we had and still do have today. Americans are all about Americans, we want our country to deal with us and nobody else. So if something else happens in the world, we truly don't care because throughout our history we never have had to care. We were never involved, and now that we are involved, we really don't want to be. So were stuck in a dilemma, we Americans do not have an open eye for the world, because we never had to open our eyes, an this whole thing about being involved in world politics is still very new to us. so if you are going to criticise us go right ahead, just remember that not only your fellow countrymen died for your right of freedom of speech but, also hundreds of thousands of Americans as well and remember that this role as world police is a new thing for us and something we know little about and cut us some slack because we are still learning.

I don't know who you spoke to, but I can honestly, hand-on-heart say that I've never, ever met a single Brit who thinks that George W Bush is even mildly likable. The man is very much hated in the UK.

i envy you, you're lucky mate.
if i'm asked i always Own up to voting for B'liar! there's no point in lying.
we were lied to & misinformed about his intentions.
A Labour Government IS & was always anti-war.
B'lair broke the mould & reinvented himself as Nu-Labour & has followed, backed & pandered to GW.
Much to OUR disgust.

GW Bush is a very dangerous & deluded man.
has re-established the title of the USA being the most hated country in the World & unfortunately tagged the UK with being the Second most hated country in the world!
thanx to ignorant self-serving politicians & their personal agendas.

George W? Bush is as popular as Saddam Hussein is or let me rephrase that. More people have sympathy with Saddam Hussein than with G.W.Bush. As for intellects i am happy for the Americans that he can not be a president for longer than his present term(which incidentally maybe too long).

I think most Brits think GWB is a bit of laugh, he's always mixing his word up, and on occasion;s looks totally lost when making a speech, still your lucky he will be gone at your next elections, where as here we have our own gaffer "prince Phillip" he's always putting his foot in it, but we cant get rid of him, just have to wait till the queen abdicates !!!!

The fact you said turd means you are really a Bush hating Brit. Nothing to be ashamed of really. There are 50,000,000 of us. BHB that is.

I'm not British, but I think I understand their malfunction.

They are not proud of their country. I am proud of my country, because it is the best country in the world. If any Brit ever moved here and lived here for a year or two, they would feel the same way about it that I do
