Actually "me va" it´s a way of telling "it suits me"
That´s the whole point of the song.

Wazup is right, it means "I like it." Or something like "it suits me."

Like you might say, "me va bien este vestido", this dress suits me, is becoming, makes me look good.

Me va, means that he likes something.
Me va la vida, me va el amor, I like life, I like love.

It is an idiom. so it doesn't mean anything about going anywhere.
