I'm a student and I have 5000-6000$ to buy my first car.I've been looking for a while for a good car and I've come down to the BMW 318I.I live in Canada and I might get this car at the 200 000 km mark.I know that owning a car with the much km isn't safe but I only want to keep this car for 5 years max.I know that having a BMW I should expect to pay heavy money to repair some parts but I'm ready to pay the price.I just want to know if this car isn't going to die on me,is this a reaible car?

Thanks!

I'm looking to buy an HDTV. How much difference is there between 1080i and 720i, 1500:1 and 5000:1 contrast ratios? What is the contrast ration on the SDTV I already have? I'm not picky, but I don't want to get hosed and pay for stuff I don't really need. I don't want to pay for the latest advances if I can't really see the difference on the screen. My budget calls for no more than about $1200 and I'm going for a 37 or 42 inch. I've seen them at Best Buy and Circuit City, but honestly, I don't know what the heck I'm looking for. They all seem to look pretty good to me as long the viewing angle is 170 degrees or better.

Okay, so I'm 115-120 pounds, 15 years old and a little under 5 foot. So, I'm a little bit over weight. I want to lose about 15-20 pounds (in a healthy way), but I'm a little confused about something.
You need to burn 7000 calories to lose 2 pounds a week, but if I eat 1200 calories a day that ends up being 8400 calories I've eaten a week. Do I need to burn more than 8400 calories, or is that 1400 calories supposed to be there? See, I'm probably confusing you, lol. If I make no sense, sorry.
Thank in advance to your answers.
P.S. by the way, I was hoping to lose 10-15 pounds by July 1st. Losing 10 pounds by July 1st is healthy if I start tomorrow (May 22nd), right?

How much more of this lunacy will the American people tolerate before we revolt against these representatives who could care less about the unfairness they are trying to inflict on us? Why must we continue paying for the lunacy. It is insulting!
