Social security could become healthy again if the goverment were to do a monthly nationwide lottery with half of the money collected going toward the social security deficit and the other half being won tax free. Would you play?

I've heen a Christian for 2 years now. So far, nobody has ever asked me:" Well, you are so different from the rest of us. How come?" Certainly, I know, to be honest with you, I am quite different from who I was. God has changed me. I have made progress, but the difference between us Christians and non-believers are not evident enough to attract their attention, or even attract them into our religion. Now, are you different from non-believers ? As a religion, Christianity is successful. As a way of life, is it as successful as non-believers expect it to be?

I heard this today and was wondering if ANYONE actually heard of this.
I was told because of the rising gas price is because that the gas company's put special additives in because of emissions during the hot months. HUH???
What about the goverment giving us a tax break, and not charge tax, so that everyone pays the same amout for gas.
Every state has a different tax %, and to help with the rising cost, wouldn't it be nice if they took the tax away till the price came down?

About a year ago a friend and I were messing around and he said he'd sell his soul for a box of drugs and later he stole a bunch of pot from some guys shed Im just wondering if he really sold his soul im paranoid because I think that i have thought about selling my soul at one time or a few times before I became a christian and Im wondering and praying that I did not because I do feel empty...so I want to know if it is possible for it to be done by thinking it or just by saying it before I even knew who jesus christ was...please only reliable answers

If you did'nt I just wanted you to stop and realize that if the restaurants paid us a living wage and not the pittance that we get per hour ( $ 2.13 ) then that $ 10.00 burger would be $ 15.00. Bartenders tend to get between $2.13 - $3.13 and hour. the person bagging that togo order which takes 5 times longer to get to you than it you sat at a table and ate inside the restaurant should not be forgotten. When the restaurant is getting slammed in the middle of Saturday we do not answer the phone Hi we are to busy to take your order. so be a little sypathetic when paying for that to go order at 8:00 at night.
T.I.P.S. stands for to insures prompt service.We treat you well so that we can make a living. A server friend of mine actually was told by a female guest " that she feels she does not have to tip at all because the other guests at the table are leaving 20%". She usually pays for 2 other people on her check
with no tip. DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU. KARMA!!!!

I found a home myself. Seller's realtor showed me the house. We like it and we want to put in an offer. Should I get a realtor now ? Seller's realtor claims that I get a 1% off coz I don't have a realtor. Can I trust him or should I make sure that I get that 1% off before i put in my offer. I'm not sure if i should take the risk and let him get away with a fat commission. What are your thoughts ?

In movies, in books, in life ... do you just want for the two ones that shouldn't be together to be together? Whether the relationship came about from cheating, or just it being an odd pairing of two people ... do you root for them more than the 'normal' couple?

Because I just realized I've never done anything but root for the odd ones.

there is a pervert boy in my class he likes to talk about gross perverted things and touch girls. He's touched every single girl in the school and touches me to (more than other girls because im in his class) i dont want him touching me because hes very innapropriate and likes to squeeze girls boobs and kiss them i dont want him to kiss me and thats what im scared he might do how do i make him stop touching me i beat him up twice but yet he still touches me thinking its ok when i tell him to stop he wont i told the gym teacher and he sent him to the office and the principal did nothing teachers arent doing anything about him what do i do besides tell my mom..
btw we have no counciler at our school

I replaced the 350 in my '72 K5,new motor, new rebuilt Rochester 4 barrel carb, new fuel pump, and filters; but the problem is it won't start on its own. A little shot of starter fluid and it'll fire right up. The spark plugs and wires, coil, and distributor and good. I'm lost and just want it to work. If you have any ideas or suggestions please let me know.
