About a year ago a friend and I were messing around and he said he'd sell his soul for a box of drugs and later he stole a bunch of pot from some guys shed Im just wondering if he really sold his soul im paranoid because I think that i have thought about selling my soul at one time or a few times before I became a christian and Im wondering and praying that I did not because I do feel empty...so I want to know if it is possible for it to be done by thinking it or just by saying it before I even knew who jesus christ was...please only reliable answers

You know what. Your soul is not yours to sell. It is God's soul already. Especially that Jesus Christ already died on the cross to redeem every soul from the curse of sin. You just have to allow him to be Lord of your life or reject his lordship. The price for rejection is high.
God said in Ezekiel 18:4 "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die."
The devil is a liar. He can't take any souls. Neither can drugs.

It's not possible for a soul to be bought or sold. A person may ignore the messages of the soul and think that the soul is gone...Yet the soul is always there, being paid attention to or not.
And if someone did believe that a soul could be sold...who would it be sold to...the ' dark side ' ? The dark side is merely closing oneself off from living in the Light.
Living a life of no accountability, little to no responsibilities...hiding from self . . . that is living in the " shadows ". No ' cashiers ' to be found...only value of self and others or not.

If you gave your life back to God as you stated the devil is feeding you lies in your mind about feeling empty. He is playing on this particular situation as your worried about it. Just rebuke the devil and tell him your not empty anymore. In fact the devil is empty right now because you came to know Christ. God lives within you now and you tell Satan ! Your fullfilled with Jesus now. Starting praising God and worshiping him every chance and second you get. You keep telling the enemy long enough and stand your ground he has to flee from you in this lie he is telling you. I will be praying for you. Remeber God lives inside of you now, so you will never be empty again. Just seek his word anjd go into deep prayer and you will know and feel that he is with you. Ask God to let your cup runneth over.

Both are made-up concepts, but at least the Jabberwocky is good for poetry.

Well sounds like your friend is in more trouble then you. But it doesn't seem like you have. Though just to be safe pray to your God and ask him. If you have faith, he will answer.
