Social security could become healthy again if the goverment were to do a monthly nationwide lottery with half of the money collected going toward the social security deficit and the other half being won tax free. Would you play?

Social Security would be *fine* if they actually used all the money *collected* for Social Security... instead of splitting it up and using it for other BS

Would be worthwhile investigating.The govt does already get a big whack out of lotteries.They may take the view that,it's not worth the bother

No. We have a lottery in CA, it's supposed to fund education.
I don't play that one, either.

I just don't enjoy gambling.
