My husband, his brother, and two sisters will be having a dinner reunion this weekend. I don't care much for his one sister, I never met the other one, I like his brother (we met once two months ago).

This reunion is for everyone because no one other than my husband and his one sister has seen each other for 22 years.
Only the sister I have not met is bringing her husband the other two are single.

Okay, scenario: My husband told my daughter it would break his heart if I don't go. He already told me he feels that I should be there for him during this happy time. I have already my desire not to go.

My husband and I are going thru a very rocky time right now and I feel wrong in going. Plus I know I won't really have much of a good time. I have already heard most of the stories and the rest I probably won't care to hear.

What would be the most respectful thing to do?

this is how is see it....CBS asked it's viewers to watch this story they were telling....and to become loyal viewers. they gave us an intresting and entertaing show with an original idea and amazingly talented actors..so we did.....in watching this story we became familiar with the storyline and began to caring about the lives and experiences of the characters. they became a part of our lives through our conversations with others and even our own thoughts. The season finale was fantastic....what a cliffhanger.....we were left to excitedly wait until next season to see what would occur after that first shot of the battle...what the war would bring and who would survive. the waiting so difficult because the characters had become important .....then CBS announces the 'uh we are not going to finish the story...there will be no conclusion....all the characters that you care about will no longer exist to finish their story. it is over...done...the end..NOT FAIR.

Isn't it interesting that so many atheists spend so much time in the Religion and Spirituality category with the intent to bebunk spiritual beliefs? Wouldn't you think that a true atheist wouldn't bother. Are these people mean-spirited or actually thirsting for information?

I recently asked if people thought that Opie and Anthony should be fired (check my profile, it's about the 3rd question down) . It turned into a Freedom of Speech issue for many, and that was never my intention . I should've clarified that I meant 'should the management and sponsors have a certain level of integrity, high enough to set the standard of what is or is not appropriate to promote' . As I got more and more answers, I began to notice something, especially the last answer I just got (I think it's answer #32, and it's the one starting out calling everyone who thinks they should be fired, idiots amongst a plethora of other insults .
It appears that some people want the ability to watch or listen to even the most raunchy, hateful, and disgusting material, no matter how extreme . No boundaries .
It also appears that others want common sense and integrity to be exemplified , not legislated, by the management and sponsors . I am one of those .

I bought the house only a year and a half ago and I am sorry to say I did not know the evaporator coils needed to be cleaned. I have only changed the filter regularly. The repairmain quoted me $1,200 to replace the compressor, $650 to clean the evaporator coils and $200 to dispose of the compressor. I live in Texas. Do these figures seem correct? The house has a 7 year old13 Seer system and the repairman basically told me I should just buy a new 15 seer system that would cost me about 6k. Anyone had an experience with this? I am thinking of getting a second opinion.

He started barking from about 7 months. Initial advice was he was attention seeking. Some of it may be, but also seems like unusual noises or if he sees a dog, cat, birds through our home window. Plus passing people, dogs etc in the car.
