I think what she meant is she would like to have sex with all the female troops whether they were terrorists or not.

Like you said, the question can be interpreted in many ways, and every side is always focused on soundbites that will carry over well. "Rosie is asking who the terrorists are in Iraq, mentioning that 655,000 Iraqis are dead" just doesn't have the same ring and impact as "Rosie says our troops are terrorists(!)". Reality is only the basis for good "marketable" news now days, and sometimes the link between the soundbites and reality is not as tight as we'd like it to be. A shame, really.

I think Rosie is miles from likeable or "normal", but please back up your statement with a link. IF she actually said this, its reprehensible. There have been abuses by our troops, but comparing ALL of them to terrorists is at best inaccurate, at worst, an outright disgusting lie. BTW: I'm a moderate.
UPDATE: I just saw the video on MSNBC's website. It is true. The current poll on there indicates that 44% of the people asked think she should be fired... we can only hope!

Where is the FCC when you need it? I think Rosie just wants to be the Jane Fonda of the War on Terror. Somebody needs to make up some of those urinal targets with Rosie's picture on it.

Rosie is a fat *****. The Troops are what protected her right to say that. She needs to do something with her life and lose some ******* weight.

Rosie and Michael Moore are the Jerry Falwells of the left wing.... there it is. One difference, the media loves the left and embraces them because it fits in with their leftist views.

That lady is sick...and I mean sick.I wonder just as you do,why she should be tolerated on the airwaves.I guess, its someone's idea-either her sponsors want her to be controversial as means of garnering more viewers.
I do not support the war,but that does not mean the troops are terrorists.Rosie,is three quarts of the way to being a basket case. She hates almost everything, including God.May she rot on earth, before the final onslaught in HELL.

I have the feeling half of those statements are precisely done to manipulate the right wing.
I blame FOX News for the high ratings of the View once Rosie came on, considering how often they talked about her and made it a national issue.
Here's a reminder, Rosie is an entertainer, not a politician.

I believe very little that comes out that woman's mouth. For one, I heard she inflated the number of Iraqi civilians killed by allied troops (both accidental and deliberate) by a factor of 120.

Rosie is the terrorist. She can't even get her friggin' numbers correct, nor does she state how many were killed by the terrorists in Iraq.
