that prompt comes up every time i go to download anything..what do i change to make it work?? its not in the internet tools option! believe me i tried that! i use internet explorer.... maybe its soemthing to do with my norton anitvirus or something?? please help!!!

Why is it that I cannot smoke in public, in a place with "non-smoking areas" and smoke filters, BUT I can go almost anyplace, even a family place like ball games, KI, or the place "non-smokers" go to eat and get as trashed as I want? Even the Yahoo home page advertises beer. Would you rather be driving down the highway with someone smoking or drinking?

My husband's ex girlfriend called our house out of the blue to put my husband on 'standby' because her mother was on hospice and was given 2 weeks. A mutual friend of theirs gave her our number. The problem I'm having is him and her haven't been together for 13 years and as far as I know they haven't spoken to each other or seen each other since, except for another mutual friend's funeral about 4 years back. My husband wants to go. I guess I'm not understanding why because of the length of time that has passed, let alone the fact that they aren't really friends either. Additionally, during the time that they were together (total of 4 years), the mother didn't approve of the relationship because of the different backgrounds, although she was nice to him in person. Also, being that I'm his wife, why am I not going. You don't go to weddings alone, why would you go to funerals alone. I feel bad about the loss, I'm not trying to be insensitive, but I just don't understand the need.

I live with my boyfriend and his sister. She brought a cat home. She is never home to care for the cat, but we are and we love doing it. We buy his food and litter 98% of the time, but i usually throw out my receipts. She paid for his vaccinations, but we paid to have the cat neutered. I don't want her to try and take the cat if she leaves, but I don't know if she has a right to.

I have a Dell Laptop Inspiron 1300 and there is a small blue box that looks like a window or something that wont delete! I am a salaried non-exempt employee - I am paid hourly - my manager sets goals for me and based upon my attainment of these goals I receive an increase in pay. She has set the goal of doing volunteer work in the community on my own time. Is this legal? She told me I could not receive a full raise because I didn't do this volunteer work. Can she legally mandate me to work and not pay me?
