find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

yes. try the "chop your legs off at the mid-thigh point" diet. i hear it works wonders for those who want to lose 70 pounds in 2 months!!

kidding, obviously.

no, there's no earthly or safe way to do this. start exercising like your life depends on it and cut out all sugary drinks from your diet. eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables, go whole grain for all your bread products, and drink nothing but water and skim milk. these simple, tried and true suggestions will do more for you than any fad diet.

the key is, you have to WANT to change to make it happen. you can look much healthier in two months with some serious willpower, but to expect to get to 130 is unrealistic. you may be able to get to 185 or 180, but that's it.

don't focus on the numbers. focus on making small and lasting dietary changes and choosing exercises that are high impact, sweat-inducing, exhausting activities that will build muscle tone and burn calories. nothing beats a good long distance run. make it your goal to be able to run 5 miles by the time july comes around. that's a more realistic achievement than losing 70 pounds!

you can get to 130 - NOT by july, and not without a lot of work, but you can definitely get there! don't lose hope and don't give up. there's a lot of time to make changes both now and AFTER july... so make it happen for yourself in the right timing, with the right methods and the right mindset. good luck.

70 lbs in 2 months? Its ambitious but it won't happen. People don't lose that much weight that fast even with gastic bypass. The only way to lose weight healthy is to diet and exercise- eat less calories than you burn, and the weight will come off. But a healthy weight loss is only 1-2 lbs a week... that only really gives you a possiblity of 15-20 loss in such a short period of time. Good luck

it would be very unhealthy to lose that much weight in such a small amount of time. what you need to do is eat a healthy diet with lots of lean meat, grilled chicken breast, fruits/veggies, nuts and all of that in moderation. You also need to EXERCISE, do atleast 30 minutes of cardio a day, it could be walking, running on the treadmill, anything that gets your heart rate up. I have been walking 45 minutes a day and have lost a lot of weight by doing so. But the main part is eating healthy, that is the hardest to do but if you keep your mind on it you will be able to do it! If you need any help losing weight you can contact me and I will give you lots of info on how to lose weight the healthy way.

If your trip is in July 2008, yes. If it is in 2007, no. You might be able to lose 15-20 pounds in that amount of time, though, if it's in 2007.
