I met my friend back in 2001 and we were work friends for about 3 years till my husband and I moved out of state. She told me last year that she is getting married to the guy I sent her up with before we left. She asked me to stand up in the wedding and at the time I said yes. Now we have not spoken for a very long time and the only time she does contact me is through e-mail and it is only when she has wedding info. I bought my bridesmaids dress for $140.00 and she dropped it off at my sisters house for me to pick up when I come to visit my sister which is about once every other month. I have tried to contact her and talk with her but she never returns my calls because she says she is too busy. I am wondering if It would be wrong of me to tell her I don't want to be in her wedding maybe, just invited to the wedding as a guest. I know for a fact that after the wedding and after I have spent probably over $100.oo in gifts that we will never talk again. What should I do?

I'm dying, can anyone help me find God before i do?

I am 41 yrs old. I have two wonderful children age 2 and 9 months. I recently received a diagnosis of liver cancer that has metastisized throughout my body. The doctors have told me that I have 1 month or less to live. I want to believe in God and an after life but I'm not sure that I really do. Any suggestions?

Is it good to partition hard of a laptop which has one drive?( to make sure not loosing data on it)?

I have a Compaq Evo N1015 and I bought it in 2003. It has just one drive and once my system is infected by a virus or encountering any other critical problem, I loose all data on it. Now
I want to partition it into 2 or 3 drives. Does it reduce the performance of my laptop or make any other problem?

Can i use the Win XP install disk from a previous computer to install it on a new one?

I am upgrading from an older laptop to a shiny new desktop. My laptop came with copy of Windows XP, and I don't want to fork out hundreds for a new one. Will it work if I use the old CD to install XP on my new computer, and is this legal?
