Someone here said "To worry is to avoid being happy". Are there any other nice proverbs/golden maxims to say to someone who worries a lot?

Not a proverb, but I've heard it said that worry is a wasted emotion.

Worry usually has no effect on the outcome of a situation; if something bothers one that much, they should take what action they can -- beyond that, just accept that what will be will be.

Try this proverb---“ Sitting on a donkey and worry won’t help”

The meaning: Rather than sit around worrying you should move on----resolving the problem.
