mar and sue decided to divide all profits and share all losses using a fixed ratio.If the ratio agreed upon is in proportion to their original investment,what would be mar share of a $60,000 end-of-yeas profit?( the original total investment was $32,000-$8,000 from sue and $24,000 from mar. sue and mar$8,000 is 0ne fourth or 25 percent,of the total.

Both the Democrats and the Bush Adm. intend to maintain troops in Iraq indefinitely.. You don't gain title to your neighbors house just because you blew it up. We definitely broke Iraq, but that only gives us the burden of sin. It does not entitle us to the Country. We need to get out of Iraq now. This folly has already cost us 3300 American lives, $500 Billion in tax money, 30.000 thousand wounded and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Some Military people are saying we would have to stay there another 10 years... Your thoughts ??

Hi everyone,

I have a 10 month old cat who had his first course of vaccinations at 8 and 12 weeks. I was under the impression that he would need to have annual injections once he is 12 months old.

However..... the receptionist at the vet's surgery told me that as he is an indoor cat we don't need to worry about getting him injected unless we are planning to leave him in a cattery soon if we go on holiday.

Surely that's not true?

My female (unspayed) cat got out of the house last night (and i'm not sure for how long). she has been in heat since Friday night and somebody told me they saw her with a male cat. is it very likely she got pregnant? also how soon will i be able to tell. how long before the kittens are born (o've heard 6 weeks). We have an appointment to get her fixed in 2 weeks, and now i'm worried we wont be able to get it done. any info would be very helpful. THX!!

he has taken shots at me and left marks on all of us. then he calls the cops to try to have me arrested for getting involved. cops wont do anything .the kid needs help before he really hurt someone . he is very disrespectful to everyone. is there any hope> he destroys personal property and steals from his mom. he is terrorizing the house. plus we plan on moving in to my house in 2 months .what leg do i have to stand on if he acts like this in my home? i have a zero tolerence for abuseive people. he said he would get rid of me soon. talking about stabbing me in my sleep. i need some real help onthis

I am in ap chem and have the ap test on tuesday. In electrochem problems, standard cell potential is cathode-anode, right? So if they give you the problem with 2 half reactions both beng reduced, how do u know which one to flip and make the cathode?

and the problem on the 2003 ap test it gives the following info:
Br2 + 2e- --> 2Br- E=+1.065
BrO3 - + 6H+ ---> Br2 + 3H2O E=+1.52

so i thought E=cathode-anode=1.065-1.52, but the solution says 1.52-1.065. why is the second one the cathode?

I can't seem to click on anything, like my start button and anything at the bottom of the screen. To get to different windows I have to use Alt + Tab.

i have a c230 compressor with 17,000 miles on it when i crank it up hot or cold a noise comes from under the hood it almost sounds like an air or exaust leak then after a few seconds it like just shuts off not a fade out it just stops can anyone tell me what it is is it supposed to happen

A preacher dies, and when he gets to Heaven, he sees a New York cab driver who is given a more elevated position than him.
He says to an angel, "I don't get it. I devoted my whole life to my congregation & he's better off than me!"
