We are all embedded in a multi-dimensional system that is responsive to consciousness. Its rules are rational - only infinitely complex as far as causality. When miracles happen or reality shifts occur, people want to understand why and they're given simple minded answers that work superficially because literally we live by faith - or experience what we "believe" is true. Seeking the unique divine ideal within and ego death is the only way to unite with what people term "God."

Well firstly we wouldn`t as we would not be here in the first place, no Creator no creation.
God has from the very beginning revealed Himself at a pace that suited human understanding and development, human beings have since the beginning felt an inner need to know the Creator and by the wonder of nature and all it contains including birth and death have come to believe in something greater than themselves.

Because we are MAN,a wonderful creature with a unique ability to wonder and think abstractly.Christians downplay man as a filthy sinner, worthy of nothing,I think of man as the (so far) end result of billions of years of evolution, related to a monkeys, certainly, but are we a monkey?Absolutely not,we are oh so much more. We can ask questions(why are we here?)We can wonder about the answers(Do you think there's a magic man that makes the mountain blow up?)And if we reject that dated notion that we are in need of some salvation, that we are inherently"bad" we can proceed to answer those questions("The volcanoe erupts due to a buildup of pressure in the magma chamber, forcing molten lava to the surface to relieve pressure, but ain't it cool?I can understand how you would think a magic dude was doing that until we knew better")Man has in him the ability to see the universe, peer into the atom, certainly a "god" is not difficult to conceive.Especially in the absense of knowledge. Do not underestimate man

Thank you . Well put. As to the first answer He has let us know . The Bible is His word. Some people just seem to believe they are smarter and have more wisdom than He does. They believe that if He doesn't do things the way they think they should be done , that He must not exist.

Because of the desperation to have something to believe in and to have hope for life after death. I don't believe in God, but alot of people do.

Only EGO CENTRICS wouldn't grasp him
They are too busy BELIEVEING they are the center of the universe.
There is NO ROOM to believe there is SOMETHING GREATER than man in the Universe.

So the argument is, god exists because we can think he does?
Not a good argument. People think ghosts exists and they don't. People think astrology works, and it doesn't. Believing in something doesn't make it so.
