All the latest research shows that whites in Europe are a mix of real humans (H. sapiens sapiens) and Neanderthals (H. sapiens neanderthalensis). See for example:

http://www.cosmosmagazine.com/node/814

"In a paper published this week in the U.S. journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, a team of European researchers report a "mosaic of modern human and archaic Neanderthal features" in 30,000 -year-old human fossils from Romania.
...
"This new study helps to settle the controversy. According to the researchers, the populations probably blended together through sexual reproduction. "Extinction through absorption is a common phenomenon," says Trinkaus."

Neanderthals lived in Europe and the Middle East, and unlike true humans their hair had more pheomelanin and less eumelanin, meaning they had red or blond hair (while H. sapiens sapiens had black hair). Similarly, Neanderthals also had the pigment that made their eyes blue.

Why not be open and admit it?

I woke up early this a.m. and couldn't sleep..so I decided to get on the computer (leading me to this site). I have answered random questions....and read MANY responses! I am horrified and want to same ashamed of SO many "would be" Christians out here-answering questions this morning who have NO idea what the Lord actually says re: being humble, loving ALL people, NOT being judgemental, etc.....As Christians dont you know?.God demands that we are actually KNOWLEDGABLE re: what we say-are you actually reading His word and praying before you answer these questions? Did you remove the plank from your eye before you began typing? Yes, we should answer questions here BUT not w/out God in the answer! How many of you that are "Christians" actually pray, read a bible and go to a church regularly. If you DONT, then stop answering questions from a Christian perspective! U R damaging more than helping-you WILL answer to God for the souls you help lossing here! No wonder we are hated!

this one's rarer but more paradoxial than the twin paradox, although the possibilities are either Newtonian or Einsteinian.
well it goes thus:
Newton said that orbits are reversible. That means light striking on a mirror normally will strike back at the same speed normal to the mirror. The confrontation comes when we theoritically assume a light source near to a black hole, but not so near, emitting a photon ray which hits a mirror kept on the surface of the black hole. According to simple non relativistic motion, i.e. Newtonian motion, the photon which bounce back leaving the black hole to reach the source again. But this aint possible according to Einstein relativity. accrd. to that, the photon will not accelarate more than c in its journey upto the mirror, but if it bounces back, the gravity will decelarate it down and it will never leave a certain sphere with finite radius.

I met this girl, she is wonderful, great personality, and I sort of like her. We are both looking for a long-term relationship (eventually marriage) and that is something we have agreed upon.

Knowing that we are both commitment-oriented, we agreed to get to know each other first to see how compatible we are before jumping into next levels (normal course of a relationship) and may be with time we can make a commitment.

What really worries me is that the other day she was distracted and not herself, so I asked her what is wrong? She opened up to me and told me that she is afraid of getting hurt if what we have here doesn't work and she is falling hard for me. Well, I kept a moment of silence, then i told here that this is how life works, you try your best but what happens happens. I told her that i might get hurt too.

I really don't know what to do?
-should I slow down with her. (less calls, Less e-mails, less time together)
-should i tell her that we are still knowing each other

I have been baking a fruit cake for my dad's birthday. I always cook fruit cakes very slowly over several hours. I am using an electric oven for the first time and it has taken over 10 hours. Now to my horror, all of the butter is seeping out of the cake mixture! I rarely cook with butter, but this is a special occasion. Help please!

obviously isnt handicapped, say or do something about it....or do you figure its not your business and let someone else take care of it or worry about it? Recently while out shopping I seen every handicap spot filled with either a sports car(the low 2 seater type...not frequented by the usual handicap person)(not to mention no sticker in the window), junk(garbage containers etc), or blocked in some way. I was wondering what i could do to change this. I mean do you call the police, inform the store that owns that parking lot or what? I wanted to do something but didnt know what. Any ideas?
