There is this guy I like, but he is my ex's best friend. He wont say we're publically going out but says he likes me. Should I ditch him and move on or wait to see what happens?

Situations like this kill me. Are men/women that scarce? Why does someone have to always fall for the ex's best friend, or for their best friends ex?

Move on. There are alot more guys out there, and who's to say that things won't go sour between you and this guy, then the ex is his best friend, so where does that leave you? I can tell you right now,,,,another notch on a belt and for some good gossip and comparison stories later.

DITCH HIM! Start fresh. I'm sure you're pretty young, so don't waste your time on this dude!

Eeep, that tends to be a messy situation. If you love the guy, stick it out, but expect there to be a lot of tension and possible fighting between your ex and you new boyfriend... probably fighting between you and your ex too. He may not want to say publically you're going out until more time has passed between slip up with ex. If you think the guy's worth the problems it may cause then wait and see. Otherwise dump him.

Going out with an ex's best friend may just stir up things and create a conflict that you don't want to happen. The best idea is not to get involved. You can ask the ex what he thinks of the idea of you two, but I assume you don't want to talk to him about it.

it think he's just concerned about his friend. Why dont you both talk to your ex and get his blessing-- or at least telhim whats going on. He's just looking after his bud.

it all depends.....who is more important to you.
your best friend? or her ex?
hint - bestfriends will be there way longer than yours, or their ex's.
