I woke up early this a.m. and couldn't sleep..so I decided to get on the computer (leading me to this site). I have answered random questions....and read MANY responses! I am horrified and want to same ashamed of SO many "would be" Christians out here-answering questions this morning who have NO idea what the Lord actually says re: being humble, loving ALL people, NOT being judgemental, etc.....As Christians dont you know?.God demands that we are actually KNOWLEDGABLE re: what we say-are you actually reading His word and praying before you answer these questions? Did you remove the plank from your eye before you began typing? Yes, we should answer questions here BUT not w/out God in the answer! How many of you that are "Christians" actually pray, read a bible and go to a church regularly. If you DONT, then stop answering questions from a Christian perspective! U R damaging more than helping-you WILL answer to God for the souls you help lossing here! No wonder we are hated!

Titus 3:1-2:remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good. To slander NO ONE, to be peaceable and CONSIDERATE and to show TRUE HUMILITY toward ALL MEN.
OR
Listen to PAUL:
I Corinthians 5:12...What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. "Expell the wicked man from among you".
Keep reading....God NEVER has enough to say about these subjects!

Yes...Angie, you are right. I will be the first to say I need a mirror. That is the point. We "christians" all do. Not perfect, I will be the first to admit it. This message was posted for the Christians giving GOD advice NOT the general public giving their own advise (thats the point to this site is it not?).....

DOUG 0102" You, being a typical Christian, just delivered a lecture. You just told everybody what to do and what not to do. And you are upset that you are hated? "
I apologize for the lecture- as I stated I am talking to "fellow believers" if you are not one then this is not meant for you... and not, I'm not afraid of being hated. Biblically, we are not doing right if we are not persecuted ("hated"). But it disturbs me that people speak on a subject they dont try to know about. How can you talk about a GOD you (we "christians") dont talk to?

BAD ROMAN:
Again....I am not saying, those who know God and the Bible, shouldnt defend it with boldness and even offend. But going on one board and calling someone as "stupid moron" and then going to another and giving deep spiritual (flawed) advise...that is the issue! Its damaging and wrong. That is ALL Im addressing here.

You sound like a decent, loving, and caring person. Everyone who has responded to the christian message by asking Jesus to be their savior has felt the need to unify believers together. Until now, ALL attempts have failed. In fact many such attempts have resulted in further divisions. There is not one single issue that people who consider themselves to be christian can agree on, except one. Would you like to know what that one is? The old testament. Catholics, all protestants, trinitarians, non-trinitarians, calvinists, arminians, fundamentalists, charismatics, even cults all share the belief that it is inspired by God. What if they are all wrong? Jesus said so in a text that was rejected by the early church called The Apocryphon of John. Most people have never heard of it, much less read it. In this text Jesus makes it crystal clear that the god of Moses is satan. Jesus then gives a different account of creation starting from heaven. Consider and pray about this. The Spirit of truth within you will confirm that I speak the truth in love.

I Go to church every Sunday, read my bible every day and I'm an active member of my church. I totally agree with you!. We need to respond to each person with mercy, grace and respect to any question asked about God, or Christianity.
I believe God (Jesus Christ) has called me to be on here as a disciple of Christ and to show people the way. I'm not perfect and it takes at lot of loving patience to answer some of these questions, but god is trusted me and I'm going to continue until he tells me to stop. I know i have an awesome responsibility and i must love and respect all people no matter what.
Please pray for me and i you!
2 Timothy, in fact read all 2 Timothy. We need to be like that!!

You are right to an extent, of course. But believers are also advised to be bold and expose the unfruitful works of darkness(lack of understanding-willfull or otherwise), and to be fitted with the whole armor of the Spirit. The whole idea behind wearing armor is that you're going to be engaged in battle and are going to take hits from the enemy and his people. Do you think that Christ didn't insult Herod when He called him a fox?(very derogatory thing to call anyone in that part of the world)

I'm not Christian, but I agree. Most of the people here like to judge others. The perspective I give is from me and me alone. I do not answer for others who follow the same faith. I always endevour to see the other sides point of view before I post.

Yes we should show mercy, forgiveness, love and care to others. But we should also tell them the truth.

But we should do it in a gentle way[learnt that from Rescue the Perishing by fanny crosby].

we are not here to condemn because GOD didnt send JESUS to condemn the world but to save the world through him.

John 3:17[kjv]For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Whatever u try to answer first look into bible about it.Back up what u say with scriptures.

JESUS forgive me for my faults.

John 3:16[kjv] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.

Yah, you're right! I should have kept myself quiet rather than answering someone's question that tries to criticize our religion. Now, I'm feeling like I'm guilty to what I've done OMG!
You just made me realized of my actions even though my motive was just to defend the Christian faith. I think it's just what makes my post worse rather than making it good. There's really no wonder we are hated. Thx for posting that. I'll keep myself silent next time and promise not to answer such stupid questions. So drama.... huhuuhuhu

I'm not a muslim but this book opened my eyes to the evils of islam about 20 years ago. Before that I thought islam was good and muslims were not following their faith. Not only had she faced rejection from her family she also had to put up with threats from her neighbourhood and eventully the entire nation of pakistan.

i have to agree, as much as it pains me, i have to agree with you.

i have been much amused by so called christians. it seems that all but a very minuscule percentage conveniently forget that to be christian is to be christ like.

it has been my misfortune to see the multitudes of so called christians that are nothing but hypocrites. so often the actions do reveal that which is in the heart, and mostly it is not christ like.

at any rate, i believe that one should not profess with the tongue, unless you are willing to walk the walk.

Have you never realized that everybody interprets the bible to their own liking. Just like you do. You think you know what is right and millions others read the same bible com to a complete different conclusion but all think they are the ones that are right. No that is confusing to me.
