This is an argument where the conclusion, dependent on how you answer, shows that good and evil do not have inherently good and bad properties or that some things are out of God's hands.
1. For the sake of argument lets says that God suddenly says that murder is good.
2. For murder to be good ,according to Christian tradition, then it has to have good consequences or else there would be things of God that are either bad or neutral.
3. There are only 2 ways, unless you can think of another, that this consequence can come into being. A. God has to physically remake the universe in some way in order for murder to have good consequences, since currently murder has bad consequences. Or B. Good, automatically remakes the universe.

If A. Then good and bad do not have inherently good or bad consequences, just because God says that they are good and bad. If B. Then the remaking of the universe according to this scenario is outside of God's hands.

what did i do wrong please tell me!!! VERY UPSET!
PLEASE READ!!!

My girlfriend and I were supposed to hang out Friday night. We had planned this a week in advance! She phoned me Thursday night and said her best guy friend just got home from college and she would like to see him Friday and asked if her and I could reschedule on Saturday.

I got a bit upset and said no we had plans for Friday night you aren't going to do that to me. I also told her that I had a party to go to Saturday...my brother is graduating college and his frat. was having a huge party. So i wanted to go. She said that was fine and she would just make plans with her friend from college on Saturday since i would not be around.

Well, Friday around 2:30 I saw my good friend Eddie and Eddie was having a house party Friday night I don't hang out with Eddie all that much he's my boy. And Saturday was off because my brother did not want me there

any differant than all the other little childrens and a £2.5m reward to i know its a realy bad and evil thing for a person to do but why dosnt those other kids get all this media to help find them ? and esp this case when the poor little girl was innocent and it was the mindless & careless parents fault that caused this in the first place ,folk can cover this up all they want with there own thoughts but at the end of the day it was the parents duty to protect and look out for there kids saftey ,i do feel soooo sorry for little maddie and hope shes found safe & well but i also feel mostly for the other parents who have had a child missing also who must think to themselves "why dosnt my child " get this media attention to find them ,if and maddie is found safe and well as i pray to god she is i wonder if later in years will her parents tell her "why"and what "way" she went missing ,poor child will be sooo messed up for sure :(

i have read many questions on this page and some times the people who answer them say i dont believe in such a thing as depression or it is only a panic attack
i never thought their was such a thing as mental illness and thought you could just click your fingers and feel better if you really wanted to, this was before i had it my self
also some of them reckon that medication dosent help and you can get better just by exercise and diet, this really gets to me as i desperately did not want medication when i first became ill and for a few months i kept going to the doctor and refusing it then my illness took over my life i couldnt function daily i couldnt even sit in the doctors wairing room withour screaming with the panic attacks
so i think what i really am trying to say to the people who say theas things that please we dont particularly want to be on medication but to function in every day life some of us need it also when you say thier is no such thing as depression you have it fo
