i do not think the idea is that this is the only way to fix things I think the idea is that it is important to remember why you are together in the first place. If you are having a stupid fight then spending time loving each other doesn't hurt you to remember. I actually like this song a lot. I like it much more than most other grethen songs

Anyone who would sing the Redneck Women song has got to be lost and tasteless. Don't get me wrong I like to get "redneck" sometimes...those are the times we laugh about, not brag about. Nothing wrong with Rednecks....Please don't send hate mail. Speaking in general "Thumbs down to Gretchen for sure, Thumbs up to Carrie Underwood". Gretchen is talented. She has a great voice she simply needs some better songs. I agree with you.

In the song she is talking about all the girls in Hollywood that have had plastic surgery and how fake they are. Although Dolly has had plastic surgery she still loves Dolly for who she is no matter how much surgery she has. She is also saying that Dolly is a home grown country girl. Love Gretchen!!!

One of her best songs yet. She will be around for a very long time, get used to it. I think the song is beautiful and reminds to ppl to remember that they love eachother and that stupid arguments can lead to big fights unecessarily. SO I AM MAD AT THE QUESTION, NOT GRETCHEN!

she says in the song basically that they've been fighting so long that they dont remember that they love each other and that they have lost the level of intimacy that they had. she wants to stop fighting and love him.
