DO NOT eat cheerios in the morning!! If fact do not eat them at all. Their ads are completely misleading - white corn and sugar - how can that be good for us? The sugar on empty stomach will spike your insulin and cause weight gain and other problems. Eat raw garlic, bite it directly or eat it max.10 min after you mash/cut it. Eat it with something if it is too strong. Increase your Omega 3 intake (Fish oil, krill oil, etc.). Do a search on the website below for the truth about cholesterol.

Niacin is a good start. Here is some info on it.
Extended release formulation (Niaspan®): 500 mg at bedtime for 4 weeks, then 1 g at bedtime for 4 weeks; adjust dose to response and tolerance; can increase to a maximum of 2 g/day, but only at 500 mg/day at 4-week intervals
You may experience flushing, sensation of heat, or headache; these reactions may be decreased by increasing dose slowly or by taking aspirin (consult prescriber) 30-60 minutes prior to taking niacin.

Hi, friend,
You are right; you should practice Chinese Qigong and combine with vegetarian food. I reviewed the research reports in 1990s in Chinese, and qigong could decrease the blood cholesterols through regulating the balance between mind and body, stress caused metabolism disorder and gene expressions.

Coenzyme Q10: 100-300 mg/day. It prevents the oxidation of LDL cholesterol.
Fish oil: a daily dosage of a fish oil product containing at least 480 mg of EPA and 360 mg of DHA. It lowers cholesterol/triglycerides.
Policosanol: 10-20 mg/day. It reduces LDL cholesterol and lipoprotein.

Buy some flaxseed oil and take that every day, it really helps with your cholesterol. Also foods high in Omega 3 fatty acids also help as they add HDL (good) cholesterol and remove your LDL (bad) cholesterol.

one way to lower your cholesterol is to take apple cider vinegar. You can take it in tablet form or liquid. I personally take the liquid; I mix a "tonic" (4 cups apple juice - 2 cups grape juice and 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar) and drink a half a juice glass everyday.
