and similar questions make me wonder why Yahoo! Answers is the preferred homework solution guide rather than reading the assignment or simply using google--or just removing the answers from the yahoo address. Ideas?

Quantum consciousness....

I'm paraphrasing but when a person dies, the cells dies and the atoms disperse into the ground but the quantum entanglement that existed in your active brain still exists. Might this play a part in consciousness? Might that entanglement BE partly or completely conscious or at least have the potential to be reconstructed in a brain? Far out stuff but it would have to follow the laws of physics.

im 29, my daughter is 12, she has a bf, and she nos i do not approve, and every thing that i say she gets mad about. we havnt gotten along since her mother passed, wen i ask her 2 watch her sister, who is 6 months, she always tells me "shes not my baby, u watch her" and then she leaves, i cannot hit her, and i dont like 2 yell at her, but when i do she says im a bad father, well bac 2 the bf issue, she spends all of her time with him, and its showing in her school marks, she used 2 get A's and B's now shes getting C's and D's, i dont want her 2 drop out of school, or end up like her mothe and me,my wife had her when she was 14 and i was 15, and i dont want that for my daughter, i dont no what to do for her, we cant talk any more like we used 2, so please if u have any suggestions, i would LOVE 2 hear them

I have a pretty good understanding of spanish but I want to make sure that I am translating the idea, not just the words. Here is what I've got:

"Recuerdate de esta noche como el empezar de todo."

I'm not sure if 'todo' (everything) is correct or if 'siempre' would be....Please help!!! Gracias!

I am 25, and the uncle of a six year-old girl who has down syndrome. I am very concerned about her because while she inevitably exhibits some cognitive impairment, and just needs a little more time to learn and grasp things around the house, her father is becoming increasingly frustrated and impatient with her. He has taken to hitting/slapping her hard across the head and face, and pulling her hair when she doesn't "do as she's told". The result is he's angry and she cries terribly; I think his behavior is awful, and I try to comfort her but is there anything else I can do to protect her from him? If I confront him he might just keep her away from me, and she'll be stuck alone with him. Please, what can I do?

I have two children who are 16 and 10. He doesn't have any biological. He would like to adopt my children since they do not see their own father. We planted peonies last year, we thought we had lost all of the 4 plants we planted, but low and behold this year they are growing quite well. They are now about 12 or more inches in height. My question is will we get flowers this year? Thank You. Jean

I am considering joing the Navy as an Officer, I have recently graduated with BA. My hair is to about mid my back and I really don't want to cut it. Is is true that I have to cut my hair to be able to go to training? Or is OCS different?

I am a totally normal and attractive girl but I think I am just too picky. I keep almost lowering my standards and just hooking up with someone to get a confidence boost, but I never do. So I blatantly lie about having serious relationships because people generally assume you must be weird deep down, or socially awkward if you haven’t had any real serious relationships by my age. I am just so fed up and I want the right guy to come along, and even though its not a confidence problem its definitely starting to affect my confidence. More than ever, recently its been getting me depressed and angry, and its almost like I’m getting kind of a negative outlook that ruins my chances with the good guys. I don’t even talk about this with people close to me because I have actually fooled them all into thinking I have been in serious relationships too. I don’t know what answer I could possibly be looking for here, but it feels good to express it.
