Piece of cake.
Select something - a sentence, paragraph, graphic, whatever.
Right-click on it and select cut.
A copy of your selection will be placed on the clipboard (a temporary place in memory).
Go to your intended target, a new file, whatever.
Right-click, paste.
Your selection will appear in place, but will be removed from its present location.
You can also copy/paste. In this case, the item will remain in place and a copy will inserted into the target.

to copy something..highlight it and click "CTRL C" to cut something do "CTRL X" [[but you can not do this on websites, you can only copy]] and to paste it click "CTRL V" .
Also you can just right click the highlighted section to copy and right click where you want to paste it and click paste.
or you could also click edit on the top of the webpage or w/e page on the comp.

well you can select the text you want, then go up to "edit" and click "copy", then go to the location that you want to paste to, and go up to edit again and click paste.
or you can press "Ctrl and C" to copy, then "Ctrl and V" to paste.
