I just bought a new flat screen tv. It has a hook up for my computer so that I can use it for my monitor also. Does anyone know what the cable is called to hook the hard drive in to the tv?

It will really depends on what connections your computer and your TV have - just look at your TV and the back of your computer to see what connections they have - they need to match.

The "best" connection is digital. Somewhat rare on HD TVs is the DVI input (large rectangular connector) - these were on older sets. Many newer computers have them. The good news is that if your newer HD set has an HDMI input, DVI is easily converted from PC with an inexpensive adapter because they are very similar. You would need a DVI cable and possibly a DVI to HDMI converter. Your PC may not have one of these and you would need a better video card to add one.

The easiest connection is the VGA which is the standard video connection on nearly all PCs - this is the "D" shaped connector with 3 rows of pins. Some HD TVs have this input and it will be easiest to set the right resolution and it will give a "good" picture. You would need a long VGA cable.

The connection that will have the "worst" quality will be an analog video connection. Nearly all TVs will have these inputs because they are used for VCR / DVD inputs. Some PC video cards have an S-Video output (round with 4 pins inside). Others may have a standard composite video connection (usually a yellow RCA connector like a VCR would use) but this will be a very low quality connection especailly for reading text. For these, just get the correct "video cable".

Good Luck

some medical doctors supply the alternative of waiting to clamp the twine in elementary terms till it stops pumping. yet your OB is suitable; the swifter they get the toddler to the hotter and could confirm each and every little thing is high-quality the better. that's finished by potential of clamping the twine. the main reason the twine needs to be clamped genuine immediately is becuase the twine, till clamped, remains shifting blood out of your toddler and to you. If the toddler is held above you, so the twine is better, blood it is in the toddler can rush returned out teh twine and into you and vice versa; which could propose one in each and every of you could have substantial blood loss. which isn't sturdy. relatively some the human beings who enable you to attend till the umbillical twine stops pumping are the midwives. slicing the umbillical twine would not harm you or the toddler in any respect. There are no longer any nerve endings in the twine. in case you have any better concerns, sit down down and communicate on your ordinary practitioner approximately it. Have her supply you the clarification why she says you need to cut back it and attempt to locate a compromise.
