Do you think it is becuase religion has taught and brainwashed society that it's evil and wrong. I don't believe it's wrong. I am a bi man but do you think this is why and do you think it would be looked at differently if religion didn't condemn it?

I'm doing a project for my history class, and I really need to know how many victories and losses the Union Army faced during the Civil War. Also, the total number of battles during the Civil War would help out. I've been searching online for hours and can't seem to find these answers anywhere. They would be greatly appreciated. Did the quick glimpse of Jacob remind you any of an older Loch (maybe from the future/another dimension?) Is that why the others, are so enamored with him?

Okay, for algebra gurus, this should go by in the blink of an eye, but for me...ughh, well at least im passing 9th grade algebra with a 93%. Anyways, I need help on solving the last part of the problem, or I may have done it incorrectly?

2m/m-1 + m/2m-2

okay, you may answer the question, or you could be nice and read through my work, heck, it may save you the trouble of figuring the problem out!
I started by adding the numerators together to equal 2m
then i found the GCF (greatest commen factor) of the second denomenator = 2
and then i added m-1 with 2(m) to get 2(m-1)
this is where im stuck. My teacher gave me the answer of 5m/2(m-1) .... but where does the 5 come from?? thanks for helping!

So I know it is normal to feel a slight fear when you think about death or life after death. But when it starts to happen more often I know it's not normal. I have an intense fear of death, and it only started about 2 months ago. Everytime I think about the future, I am afraid I will die before it happens. I have a lot of good things to look forward to (graduation, moving to a new province, starting uni) in the next few months, does this have anything to do with it? i'm excited for my future, but also terrified that I will die before any of these good things happen to me. Why is this??? I'm afraid to even go to bars or drive with people because of this fear!

The sitaution goes like this.I bought a car from my friend whom owns a auto mechanic shop.We had an agreement that if I bought the parts to fix the car, he wouldn't charge me for labor.Ayear later, I came up with the money to buy the parts.I gave him 1000 dollars for the parts in October 2006.At the time he told me that he would have the car ready in a month, by thanksgiving.Thanksgiving came , he told me to give him until christmas, christmas came, he told me togive him until the first week of january, that came, he then told me to give him a few more weeks, a few more weeks came, and my car still stayed in the same condition.So around the middle of march, I told him i needed a paint job, he told me since he was busy, that if I gave him 700.00 dollars he would hire someone else to do it and have the car out in a week.Guess what happened, yup he claimed the guy flaked out on him, because he wanted to paid up front before he continued.That was over a month ago

so, he told me would work on my car personally, and that he would have the car out in a week,so the week came and it never got done, and so today I asked for my money back and he told me that he 's going to make deductions, because the guy he hired, he paid him 200.00 dollars in labor, and so he will decuct that money he gave him from the money I gave him to paint mycar, and so now I'm really truly feeling like this person is not my friend, and to never talk to him, the reason I feel bad is because he has helped me out with problems, and school and stuff, he's helped me out financially in some instances, so I'm at odds right now.

I'm a 17 year old kid, and I have too much furniture! I can't change my furniture because I'll be going off to college fall of 2008 but I want a somewhat modern room - what can I do to "temporarily" modernize it for a low cost and make it look like a 17 year old lives here? I've got a tall dark wood dresser, 2 dark wood night stands, a long dark wood dress, big dark wood mirror and a queen size dark wood bed -- it doesn't look like a kid should be living here -- what can I do to make it "cool" at a low cost? Posters didn't help :/

Well,I got a few responses to the first question all but one as dense as a kid brother on dimestore glue. Turns out Kurt is a tv evangelist dramatist or whatever. All but one respondent thought I was asking is he an atheist. Smart crowd tonight with that bunch as usual. Anyway,I still don't know why they are obsessed with him but at least the one guy told me who was. Atheists - why are you obsessed with this guy? Is this another around-the-block like your thing on tv Pats Buchanan Robertson blah blah blah. Can't you keep this tv crap to yourselves? I don't care about Kurt Cameron. For that matter what are you doing here,move over to entertainment.
