I know how it is wanting a tattoo, but it's best to wait to get one. Believe me, the newness of it eventually wears off, and at such a young age, you may regret the style or placing of the tattoo. You'll be a totally different person from thirteen when you turn sixteen. (Parental consent), and you'll be a totally different person from sixteen to eighteen. So I suggest you wait.

Yet, if you really want to get one, make sure it is a reputable artist and shop. Make sure the invironment is clean, as well as the tools. Take you time deciding on the image you want tattooed, and also where you want it placed, because tattooing is a very permanent thing.

I hope that helps you out! =]

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that it's federal law that you must be at least 18. But getting a tattoo at the age of 13 just isn't a good idea. Your skin has not finished stretching and growing, and I can guarantee that if you were to get one now that it should look pretty bad three or four years down the road. Why not try an airbrush or henna tattoo? Those can last seven to ten days if they are done well.

You can get a tattoo in some states when your 16 with a parent and a birth certificate. 18 by your self. So your gonna have to wait. It will give you time to pick the perfect tattoo.

In most states, the minimum age is 18. In a few states, the minimum age is 16.

I suggest you wait. A tattoo is permanent. You can't get one and then erase it. You are far too young to get one. Wait a few more years...and be sure.

not without a parent or guardian signing for it. in the US you have to be 18 or older to get a tattoo. and there are lots of risks with getting a tattoo...infections-not liking it after its finished-the tattoo artist messing up- lots of stuff. now im not against getting tattoos...i want one myself...but im 18...i have waited since I was 15 to be able to get a tattoo so just wait a few more years and really think about this. hope i helped you out! :-)

No, not legally. If you do it illegally, your parents can sue the establishment that gives it to you. Believe me, you do not want to get a tattoo now, things you like now, you wont necessarily like in 4 years. Take your time, research artists and wait until you can legally get one. If you do decide to get one now, most likely it cant be at a business so you are susceptible to many diseases that you can get from dirty ink and needles.

At thirteen, you still watch cartoons. Forget the tattoo thoughts until you're an adult. You are a child.

My question to you would be....Of what? Don't get me wrong, I have many tats and have no regrets. Mine all have meaning and I used alot of thought before getting them. At your age you will probably not be able to get one in a reputable shop, so, let it ride for a while. You may change your mind about what you want to get.
