My husband didn't get me anything for mother's day last year - and I gave birth to our first son that previous January. This year, he's still telling me how it's not important, and if Logan gets older and thinks it's important, then he can do something special for me. It breaks my heart to see that one commercial where the dad tells the mom that their daughter stole the car to go get her a mother's day present and they only have a baby who's like, not even 1 yet, and the dad says it's because she wanted her to have the most special mother's day ever since it was her first and he holds up a jewelry box for her... so sweet. Am I the only one who's motherhood goes unappreciated? Is it me or do most moms get b*tchy on mother's day?

I had an insurance agent named "Joe". He was always friendly when I came in to pay my bill. For several months I went in to make a payment and Joe was not there. I would ask about him and they would say he was off today. Finally I went in and asked about Joe and they stated that Joe died last week. I had not seen Joe in over a year. I'm a deeply depressed, anxious, insecure 22 year old guy. (I am in therapy and on drugs for it.) I've been struggling with social anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem for almost ten years now, and I've had basically no social life since it started. Now I find myself in college, 22 years old, single, with no friends on campus, and I have no clue where people my age go to drink, to party, to flirt, to date, or do whatever it is they do. How do you start putting together a social life from scratch at 22 years old?

I desperately want to feel like I fit in, like I belong to a group--I can't remember ever being around people my age and not feeling painfully out of place, like I had no right to be there. The loneliness is killing me and my depression will only continue to get worse until I find a way out.

People tell me I'm good-looking and well-spoken, and don't come off as nervous. But if you're messed up in the head like me, none of that counts for much.

I moved into this house about 2 weeks ago. I love the place it is really nice besides the kitchen floors. I am renting so I dont want to replace it. The floor looks like someone has sat in there since this house was built and smokes you know that orange look. Well there are areas where it looks like they have tried to clean them. I have pictures but i dont know how to upload on here. I tried lime away, straight bleach and nothing I did, did anything. These are linolem floors. So my question is does anyone know of a cleaner that is strong enough to take this stuff off. Maybe someone can tell me how to put pics on here so i can show what it looks like. Thank You
