I work at home, and I take the home office deduction. I have a separate room that is my regular office space used exclusively as an office, so that is not the question.

I'm just sure if these are particular items I would be able to deduct. I bought a back pillow from the chiropractor for my typing chair, and I need to buy an air filter for this horrible allergy season and an air conditioner for the home offfice. Are these expenses I can deduct since they will only be used in the home office? Do I need to depreciate them?

When depreciating, is there a minimum dollar amount? The back pillow was only 25 bucks. If I don't depreciate it, what category would that be?

Thanks for any information!! I have looked up a lot of info on this but I'm just not sure about these items.

I looooovvveeee lost. But my oh my that episode last night killed me! What is everybodys thoughts on what the Island is, why they are there and how in the heck was their plan found with them dead in it????? Producers have already said its not a dream and they are not in "hell or heaven".

The question is:
If man did come from apes, then who were the apes parents. were they human or animal. And if they are kin to man, then why does man have to teach them?
And if we all came from one micro-organisim. where did the rest of the living creatures come from?
Did life all start by this one micro-organisim?
If man did come from apes, where did the apes come from, and how did they come to be, living aniamals, and where do the humans fit in.
And why didn't the rest of them evolve, into the human species?

Why is it impossible for most on this board to have even the smallest amount of respect for anyone who doesn't beleive the same as they do? Is it brainwashing and insecurity about themselves? Why feel the need to attack those of other faiths if you are so strong in your own? Personally, when I ask questions, I'm trying to clear the air. I'm not stating abuse or name calling in them when I post them. Mine are educational and try to get people of all faiths communicating and trying to work towards peace. But there are more on here than others who seem to enjoy hatred and chaos and can't stand to see people living in peace. What's wrong with those people? Were their home lives so chaotic that experiencing happiness and acceptance is impossible for them? I would sincerely like to know. Was bashing and defamation acceptable in their homes? It wasn't in mine, and my mom would ground us for weeks if we were that disrespectful. I guess not all parents want a good world for kids.

I'd prefer a fairly large one (maybe not tooo large), I currently have a small one and it takes lots of cycles to get all the vegetables I have chopped up. So mostly a good, perhaps medium-sized or larger, appealing/good-looking, powerful, yet not tooo expensive (possibly not more than $200) food processor. Thanks. :)

Alright there's this girl that I like and am wondering just maybe, by a slight chance she may like me too. I've had previous encounters with her that she's caused (such as starting the conversation first), and from this I can tell she's easy to make friends with. So, in school she invited me to join her group for a powerpoint presentation on South America. Then another group of gals tried to persuade me to join their group, but the girl I like gingerly grabbed my hand keeping me in place, which is exactly what I wanted. I went on to make her laugh a few times and then the period ended. So, what do her actions mean? Clearly, she cared if I left her or not. Is there a hint that she may actually like me? P.S.-Please don't crush my dreams. If you say she doesn't like me I'll work on her to get her to.

he stopped off to buy some ciggys and the next thing they bombarded his car with housebricks and proper smashed it up. The cctv camera was apparently looking the other way and the police said there is nothing they can do cos they got no proof. this is ridiculous. i knew i supported BNP for a reason. If it was white lads smashing up a car with a pakistani in it then they would be locked up by now.
