I'd call your vet. Off hand I'd say no. It's good to give her a bath and trim her nails though beforehand.

How close is 'about to'? If she still has 3-5 days I will still dose her with the Frontline, to prevent the fleas from infesting the pups. By the time they are born the drug will be absorbed into her skin.

Don't forget to deworm her the day she whelps, and every 2 weeks after along with the pups.

Call the phone # on the box. If you can't find it, call your vet's office. If they don't know they can call their Merial representative who will know.
