PLEASE HELP...im desperate to wean my six-month-old daughter off the breast and onto bottles but have had no luck! i tried about 2 months ago but ended up giving in - this time im deturmined to do it but am finding it so hard! i breast fed her about 11 hours ago and wanted that to be the last breast feed but im finding it too hard to not give in as she hasn't eaten since and refuses the bottle point blank! she hasn't wet her nappy at all today and is screaming constantly! please help, any tips or advise will be much appreciated! i'ved tried the bottle teats that feel like nipplesand no luck!

Is Scientology really a religion? I thought you had to believe in a God or creator of life not a galactic warlord. Also, if I am a Christian, is it wrong to find Scientology interesting. I read stuff from them all the time and really feel that people can make their lives better if they listen to some of what they say. If anyone has an opinion on this, I would appreciate feedback and a star wouldn't hurt either.

If there was proof, it would cease to be a belief in God (and this, I contend, is unarguable). I am not suggesting anything, simply asking why so many insist on "knowing"? I don't "know" that my gf loves me, but she shows me in many different ways, but I can still never "know" her feelings for me.

i dated a guy before, it was so-so but i really liked him. we even planned on seeing each other again this month. however while we were chatting weeks ago, i asked him questions about his past relationships and he said that he's not interested in getting serious.

the question is, why then would he keep on asking me out if he's not interested? was he "thrown off" that i asked him that question and that he didn't really mean what he said?

My friend has a 10 month old son and he still wakes up 2-3 times at night? Is this normal? He eats well and she gives him cereal in his milk at night but he still wakes up. I told her I think he gets too much sleep during the day but she said he only takes two naps..

I feel we are not made for each other. I recently went back with him, about 2 months, but I truly realize we're not going in the same direction. We have no common dreams or even future plans. My hubby is coming home from Afghanistan on the 14 May 07. He has to go to Fort Drum, New York before he can come back to Alabama. I am throwing him a surprise party when he gets to Alabama but what am I missing? Here is what I got so far:
Balloons, garland, plates, cups, napkins, American flags, chips, pretzels, frozen meats (chicken, steaks, ribs, etc.), grill, stereo, tablecloths, sparkle candles, can drinks, cake mixes and icing for the cake and cupcakes, those decoration things that you put on cakes and cupcakes, roasting pans and covers or the meat to go in, plastic utensils, lots of decorations that can be put in the ground (red, white, and blue flowers, flag pinwheels, etc.), I am going to invite the people later since I don't know the exact day he will be here, bags of ice I will buy closer to party, and that's all I have. I want this to be HUGE! He is gettting out of the Army on medical discharge and I want this to be the best for him. What else can I get? More foods? What?

i cant afford a new or even used repair stand and truing tool. i built a bootleg truing stand from and old fork and use the brake pads as a reference point. it works but only for non-disc front wheels. the stand i have now is actually a storage rack and it scuffs up the underside of the toptube. i want something that clamps the seat post.
is it possible to build a nice looking, functional repair and truing stand? i am willing to spend a few dollars but no more than $50 for the whole project.

For some time now it seems that a certain group of people come to the united states to give birth to children who the are classified as citizens of the U.S. I say let's do away with that law and impliment one on which states that children born in this country with parents who are either Illegal or non citizens not be given citizenship automatically. Would this be better for our country and the economy then the we now have?

When it comes up, it often wants to go outside of the track and also forward a bit, leaving an open area at the back of the window. This lets rain in unless I fix it every time I get out of the car, it's especially a pain if I have it down and it starts raining while I am driving.
