Is Avoidance personality disorder really a disorder ?is it really bad and if yes why?
I don't really want people around me all the time, especially if they don't add positiveness to my life and maybe I am my own worst critic but that just makes me try do better.I like being alone most of the time and I don't like stress if it can be avoided ....isn't people with this "disorder" just normal...?

I believe yes because people on the spectrum are not all asperger/high fuctioning,potenetial einsteins,have have intelligence,ect.Even when U R aspergers',life can be very difficult with sensory issues,lack of normal interests,not really being in control of themselves. I mean,what right-minded or even high enough fuctioning person would want to go though life that . I sure don't

If you have then you should be ashamed of yourself, this is a serious website for serious people.

It also upsets the Americans who as we all know don't have a developed sence of humour and can't spell most of our words properly. This is a great shame in my opinion because as time evolves I think we will find that a small minority of Americans will turn out to be very similar to us, albeit a lot fatter.

Hi, I'm a student who is in the IB diploma program.
So that's 3 higher level subjects and 3 standard level subjects. I found out that credit is only given for Higher level subjects though.

In every University website I've seen, the office of undergrad admissions recommends certain subjects and a certain amount of 'units' to it.

Can someone please help me explain what these 'units' are? And also what 'social studies' is?

Also, as I am only allowed to take 6 subjects in the diploma, what subjects do you recommend I take? I'm already signed up for Maths studies standard which has intoductory calculus, chinese as a foreign language standard, chem standard, history higher, econs higher, and english higher.

do you think that that is sufficient for american universities?

My husband's armadillo lizard doesn't look right....last night when we went to bed it was laying on one of its rocks with its front legs pointed back towards his back legs (like when a human lays on their stomach with their arms down at their sides) and wasn't all that interested when i rubbed his back....this AM he was laying on his side between one of the rocks and the aquarium wall, when I moved the rock and picked him up he scrambled a little but he still doesn't look quite right. We've been feeding him 10-15 crickets every other day (per pet store expert) twice weekly sprinkled with nutritional supplement powder, he has water available to him at all times and we mist his tank twice/day.
Any one have any ideas to help?

there is this guy that I have feelings for (nearly 2 years!!) we were originally work friends and there was something between us but it never developed any further.We don't see each other much at the moment because he has gone interstate for a few months, we have been keeping in contact through email and I was missing him like crazy but then he came back and did a few days work and when I was around him I found myself thinking i could live without him, the attraction lessened and I didn't feel like talking to him. I think he was a bit confused...now he is gone again and I haven't heard from him and I am going crazy, I can't stop thinking about him! and I feel sick wondering who he is with and what he is doing.Am I completely insane?? I am so desperate to email him because I want contact but I don't want to look too desperate or crazy. I was so angry that he was leaving and I have missed having him around and then when he comes back i treat him like i don't care. why?? I need insight!

My internet provider is orange .My phone line BT.To get on the internet I have to take my phone off the hook.It also works when I phone someone.I am with orange broadband.I have had no trouble until about 2 weeks ago .Phoned BT and Orange each says its the others fault.I have a telephone extension lead from main phone line to the computer which has given me no trouble until now.Also bought a new lead changed filters .Took my modem and tower and plugged it in to main socket and its ok but for some reason it wont work with extension lead only if I take phone off receiver .Can anybody help.

Its for school...... It needs to be about these three topics together in one poem: Adolescence( in general), New adolesence experiences , and adolesent memories.

The requirement of the poem is very simple: rated PG, 4 stanzas with 4 lines in each stanza ( a total of 16 lines). (this poem does not need to rhyme). Thx this is a real important grade to me.
