As we used to say when i was a boy, " A stupid question only requires a stupid answer". I would say that the same maxim applies to Frivolous questions.
I would suggest that you begin to take life a little less seriously and relax a little, you are obviously young and still intend to change the world, you wont, every generation tries and few succeed. Also your comment about rarely reading replies belies an immaturity that goes with youth, i would suggest that you never ask a question unless you can accept the answer. By the way, this is not criticism but observation based on experience.
Good Luck anyway

at first i thought it was a serious quesiton site and gave carefully thought out answers. then i realised it was just a stage on which the intolerant, racist, christian bashing, mean, cruel, sadistic, perverted and sick people could have their sick say annonymously and feel powerful for awhile. There are some genuinely nice people but now i do answer some questions in a frivolous manner because even if i take the time to give a good answer some other sick is going to try and make that person feel as useless, degraded and stupid as possible. and yes i will not be using this site much longer thankyou!

Bob, I don't answer these questions in a frivolous manner. I can usually tell which questions are bogus, and I read them, but don't reply. I can't quite figure out if your question is real, because you've made some frivolous comments. Answering your question was no trouble, either. Have a good day.

OMG, I would be betting that your wife ran off with an American? Part of the American dream is that we have a fully developed sense of humor. I see your spelled it with an extra u - very European to do so. I don't think you realize how racist it is to simply dismiss an entire population of 300 million people because of geography. I am not financially in a position to be able to travel internationally but if I was I would be a polite and pleasant tourist completely interested in the cultures of countries around the world. And we gave the world Mel Brooks and that's not funny enough for you? -- Well I gladly watch my dvd's of Walliams and Lucas' antics - you sir are an elitist pompous ***. signed - "an ugly fat too stupid to spell American"

I think it depends on one's personality type, and his/her mood at the time of answering.
You're right....I can be a pretty funny person at times, but I didn't get British humor, until I got to know some British friends, and watched enough BritComs.
IMO it takes some exposure to Brits to realize how truly witty they are. It's a different sort of humor than American humor, and I for one, love it.
For instance, Americans are going to take offense at your remark that you "rarely bother" to read the replies....it seems so ....well....un-American!
They simply don't understand how veddy, veddy busy you must be, with so many Important and Pressing Matters, that you can't possibly be bothered to attend to lowly strangers and their petty replies to your quite interesting query.....Yes, yes, you have moved on to tea with the Queen, and so on and so forth.
(this is only slightly funnier with my British accent)
BUT I TRIED!

I love British humour. Its nice when you recognize it. Most Americans don't like our sense of humour and I cant be bothered to explain it so they can think what they like. Some are funny though.
