This is most definitely abnormal. The blood urea nitrogen (BUN) of 36 is not what concerns me it is the creatinine of 2.0 mg/dL (177 umol/L). Anything above 1.0 mg/dL (88 umol/L) is suspect but levels above the individual laboratory's normal (generally about 1.2 mg/dL or 106 umol/L) always reflect declining renal function. Bear in mind that even if the creatinine remains normal at less than 1.0 mg/dL (88 umol/L) that kidney function declines at a rate of about 1% per year over the age of 30. Thus you renal function has most likely declined 50 to 60% based upon your creatinine. The creatinine however is an indirect test at best. There are more definitive tests such as a 24 hour collection of urine to determine creatinine clearance and glomerular filtration rate. It must also be determined why your kidney function is declining - there are too many possibilities to list - so if you wish more specific advice please give me more as much personal health information as possible. This is most definitely NOT NORMAL however and it MUST BE EVALUATED AND FOLLOWED by your physician.

It seems you urea and creatinine is a bit elevated. do you have any conditions such as hypertension or diabetes? You have to some degree have renal insufficiency but still this is not anything to worry about. What you should do is have your doctor check your blood levels every year. and also make sure you don't do anything that will give more insult to your kidneys such as taking NSAIDS.

Ignore the person that said it was normal. It could be as simple as dehydration, or as complex as renal insufficiency from diabetes or hypertension. See your doctor.
