Yes there should be a limit but the UK is now paying for all the crimes they committed against humanity.
English people have invaded the world so really cant say there should not be foreigners here.
My country is full of English people who sit on their as*es and collect the dole and do nothing, so I guess its just Karma.
If you don't have foreigners this country would go to pot.
Who would do all the cleaning jobs etc that the English feel they are above?

There has to be a limit to the number of people who can live in the UK or we'll all fall off the edge and there won't be any countryside left. Farmers will go bankrupt and we'll have to import all our food from abroad. Water supplies will run out and sewerage systems will be unable to cope. It will be even more difficult to be admitted to hospital as an inpatient and once there, patients won't be able to understand either the staff or each other, so all sorts of misunderstandings will occur. People, especially motorists will be taxed and fined as heavily as possible to raise revenue for all the extra expense.

What seems to be happening is that the indigenous population are leaving and being replaced, particularly in cities, so it hasn't happened.

Yes. We are only an island and theres a limit to how many people it can hold. The goverment could trace all people that should not be here if they wanted to. Let the bbc licencing department look for them they seem to have unlimited access to cash extorted from the public ond the equipment to find everyone.

The number should be decided by supply and demand. The govt will have record of unemployed immigrants. There may be some real requirement in some sectors like nurses, basic sciences etc.The projected demand should be the basis for restrictions.Visa/Entry permit should be restricted to the required numbers and areas. The High Comissions can control issue visas and permits for immigration.Secondly recruitment agencies may be discontinued. The Govt should have a recruitment wing and state will control directly immigration. All applications should be through only High Commissions. Many Arabian Countries have succeeded in controlling immigrants/job seekers

Yes.
Easily enforced by centralising all border crossings and having armed Customs and Border Police as a division of the normal Constabulary.
Many other countries, including Australia have it- there is no excuse whatsoever we could not apply it here.

Of course ther should be.
There should have always been.
Blair has allowed mass immigration legal and illegal so that the effects will be irreversible when the conservatives take power.
Does australia or the united states with their huge borders suffer the same influx?the answer is no.it is intentional.
Newspapers often show articles about ethnic white welfare spongers with huge families being a burden on our overpopulated country. Then ,in blairs wisdom, he allows millions of non contributory Britain hating foreigners across our shores. These then go on to reproduce at 3 times the british average.
This country WILL become an islamic state if radical methods arent applied soon.

Every economy has an immigration model that figures a line at which immigration becomes a problem.

Strict visa enforcement and immigration requirements are about all there is.

We should adopt the Austrailian policy, you have to earn points before you are allowed in. To earn points you need an education, have cash etc etc.

We have enough unemployment in this country without letting more in with little/no education and no cash so they are an immediate strain on the state. I have heard that they jump to the top of the council housing list above people who were born in this country and are in need.

damn right, they way we are going we wnt have any english left. im not rascist but honostly, lets not deny crime levels rise with the arrival of immigrants. without a penny to their name they turn to easy money which brings down the UK furthur. there should be a restriction on how many visa's are issued. just like america only issues a certain ammount of green cards. i blame the governmnent and companies looking for cheap labour. it is dispicable that we shall not have even one pure blood anglo-saxon to show for
