I have the same problem with my fiancee. We also have a 4 yr old. She is open about getting up in the middle of the night if she can get a couple of hours of sleep after. I feel for you and your boyfriend. He must be frustrated as well. I would just go for it when you need it. You need to correct this before it becomes a problem. We do too. Let me know what you come up with. And the answer to your final question is yes, because its really hard to sleep with a ragging stiff one. Especially when you prefer to sleep on your stomach every now and then or you want to sleep through the whole night.

Alot of guys masturbate, because our sex drive is much stronger than females. He may have insecurities about himself or may feel just too tired to have sex. He may be masturbating at work. Or he could be cheating??? There's several things that could be going on. Just approach him about it, but in a positive way. My partner can go without sex for weeks too, mainly cause he is too tired and has a lower sex drive than most men I know. So maybe that's the same for your guy too and yeah most people masturbate at some time or other. My advise is too talk to him about it and set aside time for just the two of you.

A vacation is long past due, the factor of stress has kicked in and you guys dont have intimate time with each other. A whole weekend or week off with each other would solve this problem.

95% of men masturbate. when i do a lot of it, i tend to not want sex with my wife. i guess because that desire is already taken care of after that. this question came up on sex talk with sue johanson. she recommends trying something fun like dressing up or something. that way maybe he will want to do it with you more. but i dont always agree with her. i say you say something about it to him. and tell him hes making you feel less attractive. then he surely will change.
