I have been a pretty quiet person through out my entire life, and noticed that, through my school career, myself and people like me have been treated differently in the aftermath of school shootings.

By being treated differently, I mean anything between people making comments like "It's always the quiet ones" to being physically harassed.. for instence.. shortly after Columbine, a kid actually spit on my backpack (I was a shy/quiet girl, had the whole "goth" look going on)

I just want to see what other people's experiences have been like, have you noticed people treating you differently after events like Columbine and VA-Tech.

I know I can't possibly be the only one.

On the dell inspiron 1200, someone removed the xphome sticker. i know it to be the original keycode installed as it came from the factory restore function, works and validates properly and has no noticeable bugs. i tried the validation by phone but it worked automatically. the problem is Id like to actually identify the keycode and am wondering if there is any way short of expensive help or programs. any ideas fellow computer techies? thanks.

my close friend and i got into a fight and i haven't seen her for a whole month. but we talk again because we realized we fought over stupid sh*t. okay now my question is, HOW THE F$#*@ do you loose 20 pounds in 1 month!?!? i mean, she says shes been having alot of stress but still, 20 lbs in a month from stress doesn't make sense. she eats alot too. I haven't asked her or talked to her about it yet because i don't want to come off rude. but if that's the case, as a good friend i would like to help her.

my boyf proposed to me and i'm over the moon, the only problem is over bridesmaids etc. my sisters have daughters and want them to be bridesmaids-i don't want 6 little kids following me up the ailse. all i want is my best friend as a bridesmaid as i've got 3 sisters and if i choose one of them it'll cause family problems as my dad ALWAYS sides with my older sister-everyone has noticed. i've tried telling them what i want but they aren't listening. how can i get them to see things my way. it's our day and we should have it our way. should we run away and get married on our own?

I am currently a 4.8 student and I am enrolled in 4 AP Classes- AP Engish, AP US Hist, AP Gov and Pol, AP Environmental. I know these are not the toughest AP classes avaliable, so I decieded to choose 4 and I have been succeeding. Next Year I am signed up for AP Stat, AP Lit, AP Psyc, and Ap European History, and am hoping to maintain a straight A Average. I got a 3.2 unweighted(4.0w) my freshman year, and this is where I become worried. I recieved 4 B's and 3 A's. The summer going into my sophomore year (the year I began making straight A's), I realized how much of a passion I had for learning, and my freshman year, I had was just messing up with no goals. So now I have made a 1300 Old SAT, and 30 ACT, and am wondering If I can get into the school I love everything about, Penn. I am a nationally ranked tennis player and have been playing since elementary, Stuco Chair, Class Board Treasurer, Tennis Club Booster Pres. I found some datnoids at a pet shop and they were on sale so I was thinking about getting one. First of all is this even a good deal? There are 2 of them for sale. One has perfect coloration and is 2". One is 3" but it's coloration is all messed up (the stripes are faded and the body has different shades of green). they were originally $25 and are on sale for $20. Is this a good price? If it is a good deal, which of the 2 datnoids should I get? A few more things. What kind of conditions fo these fish need? Are they brackish? Hardness, ph? Ive seen people keep them with africans so I was thinking of putting them with some of mine. Its not that full. It only has 4 peacocks. One is 4", 2 are 3", and the last is 2 1/2". The ph is usually 8.1 to 7.8. The hardness is usually moderate. Its 55 gallons.

We just adopted a shelter pup and she's about 3 months old. What is a good age to take her to obedience training? Also... any tips on how to keep her from jumping up on people? She does it when she's excited and she knocks my son down or get people muddy......thanks :)

I have a 30 gallon tank and am fighting a losing battle against low PH levels. I was trying to adjust it in with Ph UP and balancers, but it seems to not have the effect that I need, as it continually drops until I treat it again. The low ph level has had a very negative effect on my ability to grow plants for my aquarium.

I have no other problems with my tank, other than an algae bloom that I defeated successfully about 2 months ago. I do regular 20 to 25% water changes about every 10 days to 2 weeks and change the filter (I use Ammo Carb, so Ammonia isn't an issue) as soon as I notice that the water flow begins to taper off.

I have 4 Neons, 11 Tetras(Various breeds), 1 Emerald Cory and a Betta. I know that it's a little crowded and hope that it's not an issue if I keep the tank well-maintained.
