im 16 and i live in newjersey.
i was wondering if a need a working permit from my school, or i can just go apply at any job at any time?

You will need to get a job first as your employer may need to sign for your work permit through your school. Check with your schools career office or councelor to see what they require.

In most states (if not all) under the age of 18, you need a wrokers permit. You can get one at social services or the unemployment office.
