So here is the deal. I met this one girl online and I really am starting to like her and I think she really is starting to like me. Problem is she kinda has a live-in boyfriend atm, is still in school, and is like 2800 miles away >.>. I want her to get out of school right now, she needs to do that. I also do not want to preseure her into leaving her boyfriend or anything. So I am kinda looking for a good "I want to be your friend right now, lets continue to keep in touch and see other people and in a year when you are done with school we can reevaulate the situation and see if you would dump your boyfriend and be intersted in moving 2800 miles to be with me." birthday present. She admits she is not that much into jewlery. I'm just looking for some really good suggestions to keep her in my life so later has a chance of happening.

Atheism is just supposed to be a belief in the absence of Deity, however I have noticed a definite huge dash of Skepticism in most Atheists attitudes. It seems that, even tho there is no reason why an Atheist could not be a believer in reincarnation, they seemed to have taken in Skepticism as part of the Atheist way, and rejected everything, with scientific acceptance of an idea as a requirement for their acceptance of it themselves.

Sad to see people that claim to be freethinkers, just exchanging one religion for another, except with their new religion just hiding inside a mantle of scientific hooey.

Although the phrase of “the lion shall lie down with the lamb” is one of the more popular quotes from the Bible, it’s really misquoted. In the King James version, it’s the wolf that dwells with the lamb, and it’s a leopard that lies down with a kid, and “the calf and the young lion and the fatling together.” (Isaiah 11:6)

My question is regardless of who is hanging out with whom, when a carnivore lies down with a herbivore, what do the carnivores eat? Metaphorically speaking, a leapord can't change its spots.

hi
i think there is some sort of problem with my laptop's battery.
my laptop turned off as the power outlet went out.....i mean isn't it supposed to run on battery even though the power outlet cuts off.......then i thought may be the battery has drained off but windows reports that the battery is 100% charged and it doesn't report any sort of problems connected with the battery,,,,,and one more thing, i cannot start the laptop from battery, ie., powerin up the laptop when it is not connected to power outlet.
the laptop is like just 3 months old......so i guess i am lucky enough to get it replaced, but still what went wrong whith the battery?

I am 33, married. My husband and I have been married for 10 years. We have discussed having children for years and cannot come up with a decision. When my hormones are raging I really want a baby, and often cry over it. Other times I think of our freedom and the lack of it when a baby is part of the family. My heart and my hubby's heart wants one but our minds keep getting in the way.
To add to it, I have been told I would need a mild form of hormones to become pregnant. On this type of hormone the most babies any woman has ever had has been twins. So, this being added and the fact that I'm 33 I'm getting anxious about making a decision because what if it takes a few years to become pregnant. Also, I have OCD and Panic Disorder and take meds for it- I'd have to stop while pregnant and breast feeding. Everything put together is overwhelming but the desire to have a baby growing inside me, breast feeding, changing diapers, etc. is something that isn't going away. Any suggestions?

Nurses
Hospitals
Doctors
Pharmacies
Drug Manufacturers
Insurance Companies.

And were you aware the USA has national healthcare already.
Medical care is available to EVERYONE in the country, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, regardless of ability to pay, heck even if you are not a citizen of this country. Go to any ER in any city and you will be taken care of.

Insurers have the lowest expense and the greatest margin of profit in the healthcare business, they own congress with campaign donations so they get to write their own rules. They tell the doctors what they will be paid, the doctors do not tell the insurance companies what they will charge, they wait six to nine months to pay. The insurance companies state what drugs you can use and what they will pay for them. Litigation in lawsuits for the most part are won by the insurance companies, ie they do not pay settlements.

SO when you want to rant about healthcare, look at the insurers and which politicians in Congress they control.
