It seems that many are witnessing about Jesus...but, few are feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, and giving to the poor....how can they hear about God, if they are hungry...

Does your church do the work of God by helping your local community? Do you put as much money into programs for the needy as you do into building big chapels, improving your sound systems, buying your pipe organs, etc...?

Serious question....my church gives a lot to the community...a lot...however, percentage wise, we spend more on the building, maintenance, salaries, foreign missions, etc...are we losing our priorities?

well this girl told me one time she might have feelings for me. then one time when we were hanging out, one of her friends who doesnt like me and is also a guy kept trying to get her away from me n putting his arms around her n stuff. i just kept away n let her decide who she wanted to talk to. when it came time to leave i left without saying bye cz his arms were around her again. this really botherd her n she told me later on and she says shes not used to being attracted to guys that often she tries to avoid it and shes unstable and she went from possibly having feelings for me to "taking a step back." what should i do in this situation. i asked her again about a week later n she said im different to her from other guys but still she doesnt consider melike she used to. wat is the solution to this? do i be nice and patient? should i just leave and let her decide to talk to me? if she wants to stay just friends and i dont want to, should i go with it? basically what attitude is needed for this, and wat steps or actions should i make? plz b specific

Help! We can't decide between two names if we have a girl. the middle name will be Grace. So...is it:
1) Aneka Grace - Aneka is a traditional Polish name that means forgiving (we are both of Polish descent)
2) Sophie Grace - no special meaning, but we love the way it sounds.

Thanks! We are only interested in these two names only, so please only choose between them!

I'm looking for a party / wedding reception venue in Brighton that could hold 150 people standing (or less) and permits alcohol.

The shindig takes places on Friday July 6th 2007. I'm looking at sports clubs, pubs, small theaters, church halls, community centres - any suggestions?

I'm 13/14 and people in my year are always asking each other out but half the time they're joking. Since the beginning of the year 3 people have asked me to marry them and 5 said they loved me. (They were all joking). But how can I tell when they're serious?

i'm going on a week long trip to Orlando for the 1st time in May (13th-19th) and we're trying to get a good deal on Orlando park tickets. for 3 of those days, we're looking at going to Disney World (probably Magic Kingdom), Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure... but not pay those high gate prices everytime... there's gotta be a package or something for families out there... and then i know IOA isn't for small children so we need the option to pick and choose.

my mother and step-dad probably will only attend the day we plan to go to Disney, and lounge at our resort (Westgate) while we seek thrills the other days...

...so anybody know any deals that won't put a dent in our pockets? much appreciated.

*by the way, the seven people traveling w/ me so far: me (age 19) and my twin and 16 year old cousin; my nephews (5 and 2) and niece (3); my mother and step-father.

When we purchased our home the azaleas were so high and overgrown, we couldn't see out of the windows inside. My husband cut them back drastically after they bloomed last year (albeit long after bloom), yet there are no blooms this year. Everything else is in bloom, including the azaleas in the back yard. The front azaleas look horrible. They are just large stumpy looking branches w/maybe one or two flowers on one out of 7 of them. I think he waited too late to cut them maybe? It was almost fall, last year. What to do? Do we need to pull them up and start over? How would we do that considering how huge the roots are now? Forgive me for the newbie question, but I am a new homeowner, and have little knowledge of these things.
