I plan on making a pond the size of a football field and about 20-25 feet deep, planning on making a rope swing near it so me and my friends can jump, swim, rope swing and what not. How can i keep this pond clean enough to swim in it? It is quite the ways out from my house and it will be near a bunch of trees.

My girlfriend's received a few letter's in the post from a company by the name of Mackenzie Hall, claiming she owes a figure of around £225.00. Having done a bit of digging on the internet, it appears Mackenzie Hall are a company who buy old debts and then try to reclaim them accordingly.

I also understand that the tactics they use to track people down are a little dated - simply a case of looking up matching names in the phone book and sending out letters willy nilly.

I am certain the debt has nothing to do with my girlfriend as she has no outstanding debts that she is aware of, and has never had any dealings with The Money Shop, named as the pursuer.

Whilst I'm sure she's not at fault here, is there anything we need to do so that no erroneous legal action is taken - for instance could a CCJ result even though the debt is not hers. Do we need to take any action ourselves.

Also, would there be the possibility of claiming for stress and worry - I don't like their tactics one bit.

A friend and I want to sing a song in a talent show, but we can only use music that can be played on the piano. What are some good modern songs that we can do? Are there any that we can look up online and get the free sheet music for? We want to do a song that is really pretty for two sopranos. No profanity or bad themes(ie:sex, drugs, violence) are allowed so please give suggestions for clean music only. Thanks a bunch!!!

A friend of mine told me not to eat the cheese rind, but after cutting it away, there is hardly any cheese left to eat! Is cheese rind meant to be eaten or was there some good reason for my friend telling me to not eat the rind?

you see the thing is she does know i exist becasue i talked to her all the time in my physics class last year. she I guess likes me as a friend. I have sent her emails becasue i do not see her much this year. I really want to talk to her but i fear rejection. What should i do? also i never see her alone becasue she is one of the popularest people in the school but yet she is a respecting person who is really smart and i just really like her. also do not say to flirt with her becasue that really is not going to help.

My friend & I hooked up 2 weeks ago. I've had a crush on him for months but that night he seemed into me. After that, we had crazy, stressful exams & didn't really talk much until this past weekend when we all went out. He seemed to pay attn to me on Thurs night. I get shy around guys I like so I don't know if I came across as not interested or if he just isn't because he didn't pay much attn to me Fri night & actually talked to my friend more. He's not the kinda guy that jumps from girl to girl & doesn't really just hook-up. I got drunk & annoyed & started flirting w/ another guy & he seemed to look over in our direction quite a bit, but I don't know what to make of it. Anyways, I like him quite a bit & don't know if I screwed it up by hanging out w/ other guy all night. I just called to ask if he wanted to come get ice cream w/ me to just tell him that I have a crush on him instead of playing stupid games. He didn't pick up and I'm confused about what to think/where to go from here.

Seriously.... I understand the "Inner Beauty" thing....being she was a pig. But the reality is that she was a cold hearted, self serving, egotistical B_I_T_C_H.

Kermit could have done much better........don't you think?

My MIL has been mean to me from day 1. My husband and I have allowed her to get away with treating me however she wanted and at times pretending as though I don't even exist. This is my dilema,

I am okay with not having a relationship with her. I have made that clear to my husband. I do not need nor do I seek her approval. It happens to be very important to my husband that his Mother and I have a good relationship and she knows this and therefore has used it to her advantage to mistreat me knowing that I will not stand up to her because I don't want to hurt my husband. She has continuously forced me to be the bigger person and has shown me in the process that she herself doesn't even give a crap about her own son's feelings. She admits to doing a lot of wrong things to me in the past and says she wants to start new and that she is sincere BUT refuses to apologize for anything she has done. She emailed me recently and I for the first time was very assertive in my response to her.
