Like Rep. William Jefferson...the FBI finds $90,000 in bribe money in his freezer. He didn't do anything wrong, he was just "swift-boated" right?

Because it's catchy? That seems to be what matters most to them, a clever catch-phrase. Ignore the content, just yell, "SWIFT-BOAT, SWIFT-BOAT!!!" and all will be well.

Yeah, I don't get that myself. Didn't the guys who were on the "swift boat" with Kerry say that Kerry was basically there to put service time on his resume, among other things? So, wouldn't that be exposing someone for the front they are trying to sell to people? I guess, they don't make sense most of the time anyway. Why should this catchy phrase be any different?

First of all the only Dem behind Rep Johnson is Rep Johnson. They didn't even want to give him a committee assignment.
Second of all...when a group of blatant, pathetic, un-patriotic liars/losers like the swift vote veterans for "truth" spew garbage...it's okay to call them liars.

To me this is poetic justice. The Dems/Libs chose to make Hanoi John's "swift boat" days a campaign issue. When it turned and bit him/them in the back side they cried foul.
