2x+6y-4x

-2x+6y or 6y-2x

You mean "simplify the expression", because that's not an equation, and there's nothing to answer.

Use the distributive rule on the first term:
2x + 6y - 4x

then combine like terms (namely the 2x and -4x):
-2x + 6y

=2x+6y-4x
=2x-4x+6
=-2x+6
