Why would humans with any reason and intelligence believe in "Faith" which means the belief in something which cannot be proved to be true?

Do you believe in Fairy's?
Do you believe in gobblins?
Do you believe in Santa Claus?

No???? Then why believe in God?

I am fifteen years old boy and don't know what career I will have in the future. I don't even know what I want to be. I don't love any career more than the others. I have nothing to narrow down my choices. Worse, my family keep pushing and asking me what I want to be. It gets to the point where they are the one whose giving me ideas about what I should do. I feel indifferent about all the choices. I don't want to be involved in a career just because they chose it for me. I want to make my own desicion but still, I don't have a single clue about where I am heading. So, is waiting enough?

I have two wireless lans using linksys router. two of them are in two different blocks. they are both on the same subnet mask. how do i make both of them communicate as there is no wired connection between the two buildings.

Okay so I spend as much time on Wikipedia as I can. I love wikipedia. First I was researching what people in G.B. call twelveth grade . Then because of the simple connection between twelveth grade and prom I clicked the link to prom. From prom I clicked the link to antiprom.

So apparently their proms held to protest the real proms.

My question: would you attend one?
Would you throw one? ( I would! ^_^)

the 18-200mm VR is nice, but $750, haha, too much. please help. im going w/ a price under 400, preferibly under 300.

IM GOING ON VACATION, and i need a good lens to travel with. thus, i only want to bring ONE lens for this trip. i want to be able to take pictures of the cities at NIGHT, pictures of family, INSIDE museums, landscapes, and nature closeups (macro). sry if this is asking for much. im pretty ignorant when it comes to DSLR's and lenses. buying this NIKON D80 (decided over the canon digital rebel XTi (400D), is the first DSLR camera i've ever had, and i dont want the kit 18-55mm lens, unless thats my only choice. OHH, i think the 18-135mm is also a kit lens, is that a good choice?? but remember i want all those ABOVE qualities, esp NIGHT. ok, thx.

I was going to get a rather large japanese back piece done in black and white and was telling a friend of mines who has a sleeve in color. He's Puerto Rican and so am i only im a bit darker more of a caramel and he said that i could get my whole back tatted white and then the tattoo i wanted and the color and it would show up brighter. Has anyone heard of this being done before.

My 3 year old has got so naughty and rude, between hitting,shouting madly and wrecking the house he has got my temper at boiling point, I'm running around like a mad man shouting and swearing which makes him even worse and its causing problems between me and my partner because we end up fighting, and to make matters worse my partner is due today with our second which is stressful enough without dealing with this.

How do you cope with a 3 year old devil because I can't very well at all, I can hardly sleep at night with the stress of it all.

I have never had a nose bleed before, at all. ever. but this morning i was in my house watching my cat play around and all of a sudden my nose started bleeding! Why would it do that?
