I'm 48 and still don't have a clue.
The truth is, a "career" doesn't have to be a life sentence, it is very common to change careers several times in life.
Instead of thinking about a career, ask yourself what you truly enjoy, what you feel passionate about. Some of the most successful people in life are those who love what they do, and see their careers as a real joy.

Yo've heard the saying......time waits for no man. Waiting is not enough. When you don't know what you want, pick any thing and run with it . If you don't you may not develop the work ethic a lot of young people these days seem to lack. Then when something more interesting comes along or you pin point something your truly interested in doing, your half way there.
I think I 've changed careers / jobs 1/2 dozen times. I'm 63. I had ideas of retiring but get bored easily. Im thinking about maybe doing some studying do do heart transplants. Wanna be my first patient?.................LOL
Just focus on something available right now and work from there. You'll do good. Good Luck.

Relax guy. I too felt somewhat pressured at your age, but you WILL figure it out. At first I didn't know what I wanted to do either, but I decided to give business a try. Guess what . . . I hated it. I really wasn't that good at it and I didn't have much interest. And it wasn't until my 3rd year in College that I took my first audio production class. I LOVED IT to say the least. I always loved music, but didn't realize that there are so many ways to make a career out of it. I'm writing to you right now from the studio I work at today. Do I make tons of money? Not really. But I'm happy, and that's what matters, at least for me. I also never new that I would be teaching piano to kids, but that is how I make my living. I suppose that the best advice I could give you is: Do what you love! Explore different subjects to discover what you are passionate about, and when you find something you like, you will definitely know. This is my reccommendation, but if your only concerned about $$, then you probably will have to do get a job you don't like. To answer your question, I'm 24 now but was about 22 when I realized that I wanted to be a musicain/producer. Best of luck to you, I'm sure you'll do fine.

Holy Cow Kid! You're only 15, give yourself a break, and ask your parents to lay off!
As long as you are keeping your grades up so that you have the option of going on to College, don't worry about it.
If you do go to College, you don't need to declare a major for the first year, so take whatever classes you are interested in.
It will just come to you one day.
Or take some time off like I did after high school. I worked for an Engineering Firm for 4 years until I went to university, and I ended up taking Psychology and Drama, so don't rush it, and just enjoy high school while you are there.
That is something you can never redo!

Figure out what you enjoy the most, and research a way to make money at it. Let me know if you can make money sleeping.
I have changed careers many times. They all had two things in common. I loved to fix things, and I love to talk. As a plumber, I made $70K. I made less running my own maintenance service. Carpentry paid well. Now I have a degree, and am looking towards teaching.
Just have fun. I know gamers that became micro surgeons using multi million $ scopes.

First, don't worry about it. I have changed careers about every 5 years. Second, get a book called "What Color is Your Parachute". It's about how to get a job. Skip all of that, but it has a section on figuring out what you really want to do. Look that over.

I am 53 years young. I still have no clue of what I want to do with my life.............the only thing I have become sure of, is what I don't want to do with my life. At 15, the only thing that should concern you are lightweight and frivolous. I do not mean in any way, to lessen the importance of your plight, but in your youth, you should be enjoying life and not fretting the dumb stuff.
