Okay so I spend as much time on Wikipedia as I can. I love wikipedia. First I was researching what people in G.B. call twelveth grade . Then because of the simple connection between twelveth grade and prom I clicked the link to prom. From prom I clicked the link to antiprom.

So apparently their proms held to protest the real proms.

My question: would you attend one?
Would you throw one? ( I would! ^_^)

I'd change the name. Wouldn't want anything to do with anything even remotely related to "prom".
My high school years are long gone, but I remember how much the prom brought out the snob and beeyotch in people. What a waste.

Use the money to have FUN, throw a party with your friends, buy yourself something, screw that prom hype.

I went to my school Ball (Prom) here in the UK so I am unlikely to go or throw an Antiprom.

I went to an all girls state school and we planned and funded the Ball along with the boys school. We were limited to just the Sixth Form (Yeas 12 and 13 which covers 16-18 yrs old) but it wasn't expensive considering over 300 of us went, tickets were £10 or £20 but we could easily pay £5 do a disco a few years before. The most expensive thing was the clothes - I bought my dress on sale so saved alot of money.

prom is a night for men to bring condoms and pick the prettiest ladies in their eyes. women are judged based on their physical appearance on that night

imo , waste of time and money . Some people waste over 1000$ for 3 hours when you could take that 1000$ and go somewhere for a week.

proms are outdated and sexist. they need to be banned, plain and simple.
